what?? did you see her relief after the first tee shot and the first hole?
and her elation after her first birdie?
This girl IS feeling the pressure BUT she is a gamer and plays well under it....

Yeah......I saw her, "Relief" after the tee shot. I'm sure all she was thinking was, "Don't make a fool of yourself", until she hit that shot. (Who wouldn't?) That would fall under nerves....not pressure. Maybe your zen-like understanding of the game precluded you from seeing that a lot of that reaction was a little tongue in cheek/playing to the crowd?
Tiger Woods seems 'elated' after every big put he makes, too. I guess he must still be under tremendous pressure, huh? She hit 13/14 fairways, and was putting for a birdie on every hole. She was never in a bunker, either. This 'girl' is NOT feeling pressure! She may have a case of nerves, but that is to be expected.
I wish the young lady could putt, but that is something she will have to deal with.
I also love the crack about 'perfect conditions'. Someone always has to find an excuse when something turns out different than they projected. I was telling my friends at the course that there would be several people chiming in on that.
She is better than most guys gave her credit, and she could make a living on this tour, no doubt. (Not a good living, but a living.)
She knows her game, and played it to perfection yesterday. People under pressure can't do that.
