Besides the family of the deceased who truly got fucked, the only ones that got fucked are those few citizens in the U.S. that realize exactly how damaging and sad this really is.

I would say the Cop got truly fucked in this as well. Maybe he didn't get f'd and maybe he was in the wrong here but from the evidence I read it doesn't seem like it. Seems like he was doing his job and now is without a job because of it.

Where are these black leaders in Chicago when blacks are mowing each other down at record levels? I am a fairly liberal guy.. Saying that, if the accounts are true then the kid weeded himself out. I am disappointed by many of the African American Democrat leaders for calling the non indictment "injustice." How can we expect civilians to set aside emotion and wait for FACTS to come out when our elected leaders do not? I will wait for the facts to come out, but from what I read I am placing a heavy lean on Wilson.

What gets me is the absence of National Guard when looting and arson began last night. When Gov Nixon called 400 NG troops to St. Louis, Mayor Slay stated on November 18th, "?Our goal is to keep all of our citizens and their homes and businesses safe..."

Well that didn't happen as 18 or so businesses were looted/torched. Today they are reporting private militia groups -- with sidearms -- staked out at the few remaining businesses for tonite's possible anarchy. I am afraid it could get even uglier tonight around here.

The facts are not out. Did you listen to anything last nite? They said that many of the EYE witnesses later admitted that they didn't see anything at all and others said they heard the facts from friends. Sheeesh.

Those that are disappointed cannot get around the fact that Michael Brown had total control of this situation. Had Brown not stolen cigars from a market, the police would not have been called. Had Brown obeyed the orders of the officer upon contact with the police, this would not have happened. Had Brown not fought with Officer Wilson over his firearm, this would not have happened. Had Brown not charged at the officer when ordered to get on the ground, this would not have happened. This is the lesson learned, obey the law and obey a lawful order when an officer gives you one. If the black community continues to support lawlessness this kind of thing will continue to happen. The argument that this was racial profiling is laughable. The only person approached by the police was the guilty party of the stealing at the market. By a very detailed description the office approached the only person that fit that description, so no racial profiling, it was just good police work. Go ahead and burn your neighborhood down, you are not accomplishing a thing except making it worse.

I completely agree. Evidence shows the shooting was justified. It's ridiculous that this case became the rallying cry against excessive force by police which is a huge issue but this only damaged the cause. Cops need to have cameras as part of the uniform...

Yes, I watched it from 6:00 to 2:00. McCulloch stated that many eyewitnesses accounts were discarded for the reasons you state. Witness #10's interpretation of events closely matches Wilson's version. There are reams of facts disclosed last night, including measurements of blood spots on the pavement from where Brown's body ended up indicating that he retreated, then moved back toward Wilson. What facts are you waiting for?

You can have those 10,000 guardsmen like that asshole up there was yammering about. He said, "I don't think we can prevent folks who really are intent on destroying a community." Well, you sure as shit can't do it with your hands in your pockets! The sad fact is, these 'protesters' knew good and well no one was going to do a damned thing to them! That was the Governor's mistake. He needed to get in front of the cameras and tell this mob, "Make no mistake.....YOU will not be in charge of Ferguson tonight. This city belongs to the law abiding community, and I will protect them to the full extent of the law. Anyone rioting, starting fires, looting, assaulting, or causing damage in any way, will be subject to being shot on sight."

And where were these business owners? Was even ONE of them at their store with a gun in their hand? I didn't see it. Why didn't they get together and tell the city fathers, "We will be armed to the teeth tonight, protecting our livelihoods!"?

Oh, and you wanna know a little secret?



The same story would have played out last night had the Grand Jury come back, "Guilty as Charged!"

It just would have been a 'celebration'.

I couldn't read what No Pepper wrote.

What if Brown did in fact punch Wilson and then had his hand shot while trying to unholster Wilson's gun? What if after that he charged back at Wilson? If these are true, would anyone fault Wilson for firing more?

Seems to me Brown had no respect for the law and it's easy to see where he learned that from.
