On the course!
You are just pissed you have no choice, it sounds like. Man, having a bad work day yyz?

I could have taken the day off, but so many others do, it's like having a paid day off at work!

They all think it's so great to have a four day weekend! Yeah, I guess. I'll take my time off when it's 80 degrees outside, not 8.

I can retire in three months when I hit 50, then every day will be a holiday!

You are cold. So what if he had family that had not been seen and had to go with his Parents and had no choice, or maybe circumstances more important than your "practice"? And you punish for that? You sir, suck with your philosophy.

All it takes is a phone call or text message if he had plans come up, received neither...He did manage to spend a fair amount of time playing on Facebook & visit our team page while his teammates were busting their ass.....A life lesson that will serve him well down the line if & well he gets a job, unless you feel that would be too much pressure on him and wish to support him.....:0003

Your rules, doesn't mean they are right. And, the fact you are checking some kids Facebook page AND know how much time they were on it and they aren't even your kid is pretty strange, just saying. Let's just say my kids, who go to their Grandparents house with me every year that is out of town for the Thanksgiving WEEKEND, would be pining on your team as well, and we agree to disagree. Please don't give me a Moderator red card for my comments.

Forgot one question: Was the practice Mandatory and told that to the kids, if you want playing time?

Actually feel bad for the kid, not much of a home life and not doing well in school....We put together a Team Study Hall after school to help him and a few others to get caught up on their work/grades and it's helped....My kids know the rules, if you cant be at practice/game you need to be in contact to let me know what's up, no different than having a job....Facebook is how I communicate with players/parents through our team page save a lot of time getting messages out and there is no mistake in what's said plus I can see who's seen the message and who hasn't....Long story short we had a scheduled practice he blew me and his team mates off yesterday, everyone else was there he could have called, text or sent a message via FB he chose not to, so his sits on Monday.....:0008
