Ray,

I own my own landscapping company and business is booming..New home construction in my neck of the woods is crazy.

I actually turned down two offers this week for $16,000 in additional properties to oversee.

I don't want anymore work..In fact year to date I have probably turned down in the neighborhood of $25,000 yearly in new business.

Started this business ten years ago to eliminate stress related to income..Never going back to that..

In fact going after this bad boy in just a few minutes..

Best of luck w/the new contract and continued success..

The tax revenue was primarily from consumers. There is no question that the gas companies record profits are the result of overcharging the end user of their products.

Lets just think for a minute,

I would like to know what all the people will say, if for a minute we say Hillary wins or some other Dem.

Then within 6 months , gas prices return to less than 2.50 a gallon.

What will be the reason to as why?

You sound like you think that's really going to happen.

One thing being talked about in "L" circles, is raising the tax on gas, especially if the price at the pump drops. The feeling is, it's obvious people will continue to drive and pay $3.50 plus per gallon. Now there may be an opportunity to raise the tax per gallon when the price drops.

the American consumer is getting it from both ends. First and foremost being over charged. then, since tax is a percentage of overall price, high gas prices means higher taxes

No, she is not the best choice, not does she have a shot in hell of winning.

I'm registered as a republican, but honestly you can't tell me the country wasn't in better shape overall when Wild Bill was in charge as compared to the dipshit calling the shots now? Honestly?

Even W's dad prefers to hang out with Clinton over his own son!

Interesting thread--as usual almost unanimously those answering question directly about their business doing great---those with answers in general think all is bad.

Reminds me of the polls on most saying they are doing well but think things for rest of people is going bad--why--the media --and idiots like pelosi with their worse economy since great depression--when unemployment--interest rates--inflation at historic lows--Dow and S&P both at all time highs.

If you run into thread/forum where there are numerous whiners of how bad economy is- ask two simple questions and you'll silence them.

--Are you worse off than you were 6 1/5 years ago--and why?

any volunteers?

Had I not made myself better I would be living in a cardboard box thanks to your boy W.

So yes, I am better of than 6.5 years ago, no thanks to the ahem Commander in Chief.

Stock markets are doing well, probably has nothing to do with big oil companies stock rising from around $44 to over $84 today (Exxon) or $53 to $68 (BP) in the past three years, huh?

Thousands of dead soldiers are better off because it's OK to hide behind the mantra "freedom isn't free", much easier than facing the truth.

Love to stay and chat, but I gotta grab a ski mask and go fill my gas tank, then smuggle some money to Costa Rica so I can play a few hands of cards.

Ray not a owner but have worked for the same company for 13 yrs. Which is moving & storage, we do local , long distance & international. Our local & office moving is way down because of the loss of jobs in the metro Detroit area. Long distance & international moving is doing great because of the mass exodus of people leaving Michigan. Sooner or later the well will run dry. Lot of large companies such as Allied Van Lines & United Van Lines have a great amount of long term debt are hurting.

GOOD, worst fawking drivers on the road. Probably in so much debt because they self insure and have to pay for all the shit they keep wrecking into.

That place goes out of business the roads will be a safer place.
