That was nice. T.O. is slightly cool with ever so few drops of rain, conditions which seem to keep the predatory monsters at bay, at least.

Not a juvenile D&D issue. Uriah Heep just had a bad lead vocalist. Never mind the silly lyrics.

None to hear here.

My candidate for a possible craziest song title.
I haven't heard this in quite a while.
Should be apparent quickly.

Got a bit of an entourage hangover today, if there is such a thing. Google AI claims not, for alcohol, as in mixing drinks allegedly won't affect the intoxication or the hangover intensity. I am skeptical of the incomplete science. "Reliable" anecdotes are needed. Subjectivity and science clash.

No booze, here. Tomorrow is 4 weeks, I guess. Fucked around crossing my psychedelics just for a twist. Just a single go of MDMA (100mg) and a single (1g) cubensis mushroom tea. Was a good high but I don't know if they compliment each other particularly well. Probably best to double-up on one or the other, as opposed to said combo. Hangover/burnout effect feels yuckier than a recent double-dip of MDMA about a month ago. Mind you, LSD payback was tough; wasn't ready for that mindfuck--was pretty incapacitating.

Where's my <bleeping> song?

If your head is exploding with offseason blues, too, I was checking out an NBC article from 2021, ranking the best TNF matches. If an appetite materializes then I will need some action. Visually, not gamblinomically.

Top 2 they got 2017 week 3, Rams@49ers. No spoilers but high-scoring and down to the wire.

One more for the Steelers hopefuls. 2015 Packers@Lions. Rodgers and Stafford in a wild one.

Coffee not helping my quest for cognitive baseline. Has to be subjectively real, otherwise how could one answer the question, "are you drunk?", or "are you high?" One must assess their state and contrast it with something, this alleged baseline. Normal, whatever that is. Holistic homeostasis? Not trying to complicate things, just happens. My head can K.I.S.S. my ass.

Need a vacation.

Caffeine disappointing so trying short, lively ditty to see if movement is to pity.
No angst from these guys. They seem to be basking in the absurdities of life.

I'm supposed to write a short essay on my sense of wonder, and how nihilism hasn't destroyed it but kind of shelved it. Maybe tomorrow. Below baseline for whatever than would take.

Did a couple of googlies for songs about a sense of wonder. A couple as the first response was songs that "evoke a sense of wonder." Works, but second response was for "songs [that] explore themes of mystery, anomalies, and wonder through their lyrics and musical composition".

Some good shit I wanna hear.
Solipsism suggests you do too.

Not quite as off-putting as the cover of Beggars Banquet, but I can do without toilet bowls on my album covers. Maybe Andy Warhol used to be in vogue.

I think all my Van Morrison is (was) all from the 70's. Self-titled from a 1984 release I'm unfamiliar with, but seeing my edge I'm all in. First doob woke me up a bit so why not forget the night, live with us in forests of azure. Out here on the perimeter there are no stars. Out here we is stoned, immaculate. Fruity Pebbles. How old are the people who come up with these strain names?

That covers the "evoke" list they gave me, that I'm game for. Some are lost above somewhere: Stairway to Heaven, Carry On Wayward Son, Bohemian Rhapsody, A Day in the Life & In My Life by Beatles, Roadhouse Blues and Beach Boys Wouldn't It Be Nice.

Actually, I'll grab their last 2 borderlines. The pessimist in me can't take the Lennon track but I'll give it another shot. Rigby is not happy-clappy, so not sure about the theme (same for Bohemian Rhapsody etc).

Googlies rock songs [that] explore themes of mystery, anomalies, and wonder list plagiarized my Echoes (PFloyd), Baba O'Riley, I Am the Walrus and a worthy, unnamed and repeatable Zeppelin tune. Pass on the Frank Zappa.

Makes sense they'd cop for some witchy stuff.

That worked out perfect. I blame the drugs.

Led Zeppelin's very own Jimmy Page played guitar on a number of Donovan tracks, including this 3rd witch-themed. Should note that Page is the barely audible background electric, as I think the acoustic is Donovan himself.

And closing songs that explore themes of mystery, anomalies, and wonder, they opened with:

  • "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin:
This song is known for its epic scope, mystical lyrics, and powerful instrumentation, creating a sense of mystery and wonder through its exotic soundscape.
