I need to hear one more Jimmy Page-Donovan track before blasting off with Kashmir. One of 2 Donovan albums I inherited from parents, this track allows for Page to get down a little more than that last. So memory insists. Ask and ye shall receive, check it out:

me: did jimmy page play on donovan track "hurdy gurdy man"?

AI Overview

Yes, Jimmy Page did play on Donovan's track "Hurdy Gurdy Man". While Donovan initially wanted Jimi Hendrix for the guitar part, scheduling conflicts led to Page being brought in as a session musician. John Paul Jones, also a future Led Zeppelin member, also played bass on the track.

===

That's cool. Jimmy as second choice to Jimi.

More witchy wonder and mystery. Heavy blues rock from Germany. 1st track is to trip for. Made sense when I typed it. Flipped sides.

I guess blues is a state of mind. Got the blues with any temptation to revisit that LSD mindfuck again, but this Vocokesh disc begs to be experienced once thusly. More altered states for the bucket list. American (Wisconsin) believe it or not. Sitar, guitar, bass and drums. The 14-minute title track (somewhere above)--Dr. Hofmann's Bicycle Ride--is especially cool if you've listened to Albert Hofmann describe his discovery and initial experience with LSD. Some good stuff all over youbube, he speaks great English, and he has interesting perspectives on the crossover between the subjective experience and what the science allows.

Get some football fix. Fuck the middle east.

Mark Lanegan has a great voice but I ain't super-familiar with catalog. Screaming Trees, Mad Season and solo. Life is too nothing.

Four more blues and then I want to cheer up. Actually, a lot of these "blues" tracks are just having fun with human foibles, Nice change from the dark forebodings of doom from the Moon and elsewhere.

Hey,
Came up with one or X more I want to hear again before I rust.
My My.

Information is like a game.

AI Overview

"My my" is an interjection, typically used to express surprise, amusement, or mild disapproval. It can also be a more formal or "respectable" alternative to phrases like "oh my god" or "oh my gosh". In some cases, it might indicate concern or mild exasperation.
