Men's peer support group helped. Placebo effect. Was in good mood prior and good mood after, both assessments strange. Going to take advantage by clearing up some solid tracks relating peaceful interpersonal enlightenments, as opposed to whatever the person sitting next to me fears. I think four before skygazing the moon and friends. Sneaking in a relevant repeat, but I Willowdale not reveal which.

The idea of the dark night of the soul came up at my meeting, oddly enough (and not by me). This sure seems like the opposite of the ego-death, or other spiritual label, that can be temporarily obtained via meditation, sensory deprivation, psychedelic substances, etc. Both are ephemeral; fleeting. One can stain while the other alludes to wisdom. I'm out of detergent.

me: etymology of "the dark night of the soul"

AI Overview

The term "the dark night of the soul" originates from the writings of the 16th-century Spanish mystic and poet St. John of the Cross. He used the phrase to describe a period of spiritual purification and transformation, where an individual experiences a profound sense of darkness, emptiness, and a perceived absence of God. This "dark night" is a stage in the journey towards spiritual enlightenment and union with the divine, according to St. John of the Cross.

===extra's emphasis

Stains may be bad analogy. Scars? One can gain wisdom from scars, literal ones or metaphorical ones.

Sense of being alone. A self. Isolated. I'm a recovered atheist aspiring to nihilism but I have understood the perceived absence of God, lately. Something must hold. Perhaps Sartre (hell is other people, in No Exit) was wrong and God is other people.

I'm working on it. Your beliefs don't make my load much lighter.
No offense intended.

I still hate spiders. I don't know if I should get over it by breeding them in some type of entomological post-apocalyptic nightmare or just keep dealing with it. At least it went the other direction. Live and let leave me alone. Big fucker. I swear.

--"edited version" means cut out of 8 minutes of crickets and a lame hidden song, btw

My neighbor may get his wish as I found a coffee creamer to die for.

Can't exterminate all the crickets.

I've tripped on these next tracks during ideal, mellow headspaces but they can be sleep-inducing if directions (chill) not followed. Consult your bed before combining with horizontal activity, or lack thereof. Got two or four depending on whether or not I'm seeing double. Happy birthday, just in case.

Time is finally going fast, today. I suspect that is a good sign.
