Actually, JT, I've never considered those two things to be in opposition in that forum. Anyone conservative leaning maintains the other side brings both of those things to their views. Kind of the my way or the highway thing, with the Commie-Fascists in unison against them.

[Sorry for the slightly political view. I don't think many will disagree with that that spends any time there, one way or the other.]

I do miss the semi-civil discussions we used to have. I'm still there, and see a couple people here spilling over and just complaining about the same stuff. It's sad, really, and some aren't smart enough to realize that they are the reason this whole thing happened. Nothing but incessant Youtube posts, inane rips on anything they don't agree with, and of late a flurry of conspiratorial anti-government links from essentially one other website.

I used to learn quite a bit from other posters, now I just can't see spending much time wading through the bullshit. But, admittedly, I still get drunk and have to argue with Wayne from time to time...

I would not call arguing Chad--I always look forward to your input as you represent your side of discussions very well.
IMO I can gain much more from discussing politics and events that shape our future than than observing bearded clams
--but if others prefer the later I have no prob with that either --there was a time I'd made same choice.
