a neighbor/business associate has been hounding me for a while totake off for a weekend in his R/V and go watch his super modified cars at the track, he has a couple. He just picked up a new one, the thing is a palace on wheels, you name it this thing has got it!! I know it is more popular out West and South just curious if any mjer's have this hobby. He takes off every weekend
in this thing, sometimes weeks at a time, following his cars across the circuit and for pleasure. His driver has a fifth wheel trailer at the shop, I was impressed w/them both. I used to bust his chops, tell him to break into his mattress and buy a frgn plane ticket, LOL!! He owns a pre fab concrete business, stairs, pipes etc. his daughters and son in law run the business allowing him all the time he wants, he spends most of it in that rig. I don't what either of them go for(trailer or Rv) looks like it would fun to hit the road and just go where ever as opposed to a condo in Fla or small vacation home.

home
take the car if you want to drive, and get a nice motel room.

(from someone that doesn't have an rv and doesn't want one)

i'll fly/drive and hit the motels/hotels.

just my opinion.

That's what I thought as well, until I looked inside this frgn thing, don't know if I would own one, already have a a vaca home I hardly use, but wouldn't mind renting a nice one for a few weeks and just roll, probably head out to Minny and christen Eddie Guardardos front yard with a donut in the thing, LOL!! Seriously wouldn't think it would be a bad experience for a couple a few weeks, take in some sites at a leisurely pace, see a little more of the USA. We were just talking about the fact that there are so many places, things to see in America and the 1 st thing everyone heads for, myself included, is to an island, Europe etc. All the time missing out on some beautiful sites, cities, people etc. in our own country. Seriously gonna think about giving it a whirl.

I have always dreamed of retirement cruising around Ameica in one of those huge tour buses. My wife is completely against the idea.:( I went to the Georgia-Florida game one year in Wynona Judd's bus (friend of mine is her neighbor and she let them have it and the driver for the weekend). It was awesome!

Hoops :D , just in time for fall clean up, LOL!! Dawg that is what my neighbors is like, he keeps it at his business in a garage he had built for it, got to be at least 40' long, looks like it would be fun for a few weeks or a getaway like you had.
