Never had a pet monkey, but I will be buying property in Costa Rica or Panama in the next couple of years, and it will be mandatory that the property has Howler and Capuchin Monkeys. I'm not sure if you will be able to count that as having pet monkeys though.............

you going to move there or is it a 2nd home? i'm hearing CR is way too expensive but panama is still reasonable, but i havent checked it out in detail. lotsa perks in panama to move there as a retiree.
