The Upstate
in a weekly or bi-weekly online poker tournament..
I know we have had Madjack tournies on Noble and Poker Stars in the past, but none recently that I can recall..On that note, is anyone interested in having a series of tournaments, and if so;

1) How often?
2) How Much?
3) What site?
4) Should we keep a points standing, and throw in an extra amount for the end of the series?

If we can get a decent amount, I will see about setting it up, or if someone else wants to take the ball and run with it, thats fine to...

Let's wait for Jack to win this damn thing. Once that happens, the poker sites will be falling on themselves to host MadJack tournaments.

I play on Stars and would play if the night is right.

$10 or $20 is good for me, and I would even be up for a league... and calculate the points if need be.

We should not use PP they are not a sponsor. POKERSTARS is a much better site (and a sponsor). :SIB :SIB :SIB

I vote for a $20 weekly (Wednesdays are good down days moving into the football season).

I AGREE, Wednesdays are good for me also! The amounts are fine. A weekly $20-25 game and maybe a monthly $50 game. Make sure we do the password thing, and a minimum of 100 posts :SIB Hopefully then we wont be dealing with some of the yahoos of the past.............Either site is fine with me too.

I wouldn't mind a poker league with this group, but it would be easy for collusion. I trust MOST people on here but not all.

It could be like the Poker Superstars setup.

And, of course, this would not be endorsed by this site for reasons proven in the past.

Me, being a poor shlepping public health nurse who fully supports herself in the suburbs of the Capital, and whose ex-husbands never paid a cent of alimony, vote for $10 weekly at PokerStars.

That would get a lot more people, 10 dollars. When we had $20 tourneys here, we would get 4 to 7 people. The freerolls got about 100.

I'd be in too but a league for me at least would be difficult. I'm on call various nights and would have a tough time playing at a regular scheduled time.
