pretty cool.

played wednesday and thursday and got to step 5 both times. one day i started with the $50 buyin (step 2) and 1 day i started with the $200 buyin (step 3). AA busted by 66 in the first one early and AK busted by 44 in the 2nd at the final table.

i won't quit till i hit the $9K.

just starting step 4 now.

check out the rules here:

Its weird I was just reading on these things the other day. Was thinking of putting some money on Party Poker but I do so well at Paradise I dont care to leave. Was also thinking about Doyles room but feel the same about it. Online poker is weird but Im starting to figure it out a little more and doing really well. He obviously put you on AQ. LOL
A quick story to let you know how peple like that think, Im playing in a live tourney a few weeks ago. Rebuys are over and we are down to 11 people out of 34. Im in the big blind and have 10-10. blinds are 1-200. A really weak call station type player limps in on the button. Small blind limps, I raise 500. Button predictably calls and small blind folds. Sooo the flop is 10c 7h 2d.
i mean its too good to be true right I flop to set. I did however put him on a suited face card which he always plays. Such as J9 or Q9. I didnt want to check and take a chance of giving him a free card. So I move all in for 3200. He has 3300 and calls. :scared He turns over Q8 of clubs. I start laughing and he says I put you on AK or a small pair. I said well you cant beat either one but thanks for calling. His answer was I can beat either one if I hit and the pot was too big :142lmao: Anyway you know the rest of the story. They turn a J and a 9 to make him a straight :cursin: I fell over , got up and went home :moon: But thats how these people think.

flop comes up K44.....i move in for 1 bet and other dude goes all in....I call immediately.....he shows 77.........

turn and river come up 77

worst beat i have ever taken.......

countinguy, it's in the sit and go tourney area "multi table" sit and go.

i'm still pissed about last night. i'm getting my 1st 9k today :D

step 4 is the easiest too because all you have to do is finish top 12 and you're still alive. ugh

finish top 8 and you're playing for the big money.

These things are more addictive than crack! If a few or us have entries into step 5 and want to sit at the same game, let me know. I will not support any type of collusion, but I'd be game for taking 10% of your action in exchange for 10% of mine. It's alot of playing just to bust out 5th and get NOTHING at that point.

if my luck wasn't bad enough......

last night i, again, went thru step one and step two and then went to bed.

i woke up at 6am and thought i'd play my step 3. well, only 4 people were in there and after about 30 minutes i decided to go to bed again.

guess what? i forgot to UNregister and lost the tourney in 12th place without playing a hand while i slept. i got $35 for nothing but lost my $200 buyin to step 3.

playing step 3 right now again. 12 left but i'm a short stack. need to get to 9th at least.

addicted!

Thats just disheartening, give some consideration to my offer, I hate to run into you at a step 5 game and have to bust you out for no good reason :)

BTW, I think the best strategy here is to just buy-in at step 2, the step 1 games are just as bad as freerolls in my opinion.
