I went 2 years ago at this time. It poured heavily for a couple of hours most afternoons, but we had a great time. Mornings and evenings were rain free throghout our trip. We were able to go rafting, hit the beach, explore the rain forest, party nightly, etc. We rented a sweet house with a pool, which added to the qulaity of the trip.

I stayed on the pacific coast, about 20 miles south of Jaco along the Manuel Antonio national park. I think our town was called Quepos......

Liberia is north of where I stayed.

It's the same all over the country.

Like Cie said, it will rain for an hour or two every afternoon which really helps to cool things off and is actually a great time for a siesta.

Just got done with mine. .. :D
