flying down to charlotte, nc on wednesday the 4th to see my brother, have tickets for fridays round. never been, he goes all the time. anyone going? any help of things to do or see is appreciated...

Ive been a couple times and if you love golf then this is a place that every golf lover should see. Its amazing to see how plush a golf course can actually get. I dont know if your looking to walk around alot or park yourself at a hole and let the players come through. If I went back heres what I would do. I would walk around the front (just to see it) then walk to Amen corner and eventually sit at either 16 (depending on the pin placement) or 14 green. 14 green is good because its a short par 4 and players usually have wedge or 9 into the green and hit some decent shots. Plus if you sit behind the green, you can be pretty close. Have a great time. Im sure you will:00hour
hint: if you go early. I mean REAL early, then you can take a chair to the spot you want to eventually sit at that day. Then walk around and come back to your seat later. :SIB
On Sunday morning. 18 green is filled 20 something rows deep of empty chairs..
This sport is unbearable to watch on TV let alone going to watch it live. Is it even a sport?:shrug: What is next people going on vacation to watch a poker tournament live?

FYI - T-BONEZ is the best bar to hang at while @ The Masters. Alot of caddies & ho's hang out there. The practice rounds are more fun than the actual tourney.

This comment is too stupid to even ponder. I'm sure it's from someone who watches NASCAR or fishing on TV.
Questioning whether or not something is a "sport" when you hit a stationary ball with no defense -- not to mention if a fan sneezes during a swing he might get thrown out -- is not "too stupid to even ponder".

i dont watch those either. Let me know when John daily runs a 4.40. Nascar is just as much a sport as golf and mountain climbing.

I think i said what i did because golfers are a sensitive bunch lol. I do find it commical the one guy who insults me and then insults nascar basically saying what i said about golf towards nascar:shrug: . I thought Agent was gonna storm in here calling me every name in the book. He must be on the golf course. Im sorry to all the golfers, bowlers, that shit you hit with a mallet thru the rings, poker players, darters, shuffleboarders, and that thing you play on horses with a mallet in hand. Oh and baseball.

Can't think of any sporting event other than Masters that airs with only 6 minutes of commercials an hour for their fans--and if you get outsiders trying put heat on them--they foot the bill with no commercials.
