Pretty sure mine is torn. Was your surgery successful? Long rehab(I'm 60)? Problems?
Mine is torn from pitching and I have not had it repaired. I think it matters as to how much pain you are in. Mine only hurts when I throw or reach straight up. I think the matter of pain should be the deciding factor. I have thought about getting mine worked on, but I think I do okay on a daily basis, so I will keep putting it off. If it affected my daily life, it would be another story.
I have been going through "frozen shoulder" for a while now. A lot of people think they have rotator issues when they have that.

He fixed me up. Said I was close to frozen shoulder. I see him every 2 weeks for an adjustment, sure beats getting cut.
My chiro has seen me for 6 visits, and only hurt me more. I'm done with him. It will go away when it does.
Find a new one.........MD's only know 2 things, cut you or give you a pill.
