Heard anything from him lately? Or is he one of those whose passed away?
I don't know what happened as we became pretty tight back in the old days. I'm guessing the politics forum pissed him off and he left. That's the only thing I can think of.

I can see that. Not everyone can get past the heated exchanges on a forum and separate that from the reason we’re all here, which is to help each other win some sports bets.
Went through the thread that Old School linked. Some familiar names that haven’t been seen here for quite some time.
Still amazes me that it’s been over 25 years since you moved over from the AOL site to your own forum. Here’s to many more years of madjacks 🍺

I started May 1998 with UltimateBB forum software then went to Vbulletin then to the one we use now.

I guess that didn't make the transfer from old forum software to the new format.

Kinda like the smilies. :smilies4
The switch to new software made 23 folders I had from site obsolete. I am sure you were not aware this would happen as 75% of history was lost.
I started my folders in 7-1999 and would be curious to my pecking order of members.

Haven't heard from Jim "countin guy" in a while. I know he was always fond of you as you all shared many ideas and goals.

He left not so much due to poltical forum, as he rarily participated, but due to movement of forum in general.
I'll ty and check in with him.

I'm not sure about 75%, I think it was random things that were lost. I really don't know. Some coding was not compatible with the new forum coding. vBulletin software is a dying software that was once on top of the hill, these folks took over.

You were member #11. But not really because I have MadJack and admin and the original installer had a name that I don't recall and IE. You were definitely one of the first.
