Fuck guys. Had a great first 3 levels. Was at a table with 4 solid pros - fucking sharks. Any way turned 60 into 90. Then got smoked after dinner break - This was the killer…

I’m on the Button q10dd. Early position
Raised to 1500. I flat. SB shorty makes it 3600. Early calls. I call. Flop q106. Sb leads 3600. Early folds. I make 10200 to go. SB calls. Turn king. He checks and only has 13800 behind. There’s like 33 in the pot so wtf am i going to do. I shove. He snaps with AJ. 80k to 52. Just like that. Tilted a bit down to 19 and spun it to 42k at bag time.

I’ve been known to master a short stack, so I’m still not going anywhere

Good luck, I had to leave Thursday to come back to Texas as Walmart called a big meeting together for Friday at noon and I needed to be here with my managers. Otherwise I would be there rooting for ya!

Busted last level of day 2. I couldn't have been more card dead on day 2 - got zero playable hands outside of aces and the hand that ultimately did me in... 77 on button... make it 2500. Small blind (and GREAT player) makes it 6 to go. I call. FLop is 4-7-6 rainbow. I make it 5. He calls. Turn is 8 of hearts. Getting scary. I check he checks. River a 3rd heart and a 10... so a millions straights and obv flushes. I bet 12, he makes it 24500. so he actually didn't put me all in. He left me with 1k chips - I missed this bc was so sick about the run out when it was the only hand i made all day... so for 12k more into that pot for all my chips, i didn't see folding even tho i figured I was dead. call - and think I'm out, and he had AQ hearts and made nut flush. BUT, he left me with 1k chips on purpose because he said he thought I was such a nice guy and he couldn't bust me. THEN, I actually spun up the 1k to 12 - a douuble up and a triple up.... Then shoved AJ suited from cutoff and SB woke up with QQ, I hit a jack. but no luck.

I played better this year. I played well - much better than the last 2 years. But it's one tournament, and just didn't get the hot run that I need at this point. I made 2 mistakes and that was enough bc I couldn't amass chips. Ahhhh... next year... and at some point, I will get good again. This game has evolved!!! And i Haven't

My poker buddy from midland Texas who’s game I play in every Monday night Braxton Dunaway is 3rd in chips with 8.9 million after thursdays round. He won a bracelet 2 years ago in the 1500 monster stack. Very happy for him and very exciting for our group of poker players around the Amarillo, Lubbock, midland Texas area.

This guy just sits down at the feature table with a healthy stack and pisses it away, just like that. I would be kicking myself in the ass for the rest of my life. Completely unnecessary.

Most people hate this guy, Will Kassouf, but I think he makes it much more interesting to watch. This is an amazing hand, IMO. He talks out loud his whole thought process.
