I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!
Orientation and paperwork tomorrow... likely be sent away for a week either next week or the week after (will find out tomorrow)
Still may only be temporary, but right now, i'm looking at that as a GOOD thing.....LOL (take a layoff, and go away for the training for the other job i'm about to be offered at the same airport...*TSA*, then come back and be able to work both jobs part time)
now THAT is how it would work out in a perfect world, so i'm not counting on it. :mj07:
Vegas in June for a couple of days is looking great right about now tho!!!!

Thanks guys ...... it's gonna be great once i can actually afford to travel....LOL
MCity, my ex's aunt passed away last month, so i highly doubt they'll be having the annual summer reunion in Valpo any more, and even if they do, it kinda looks as if it would be over the time i'll be in Dallas.
Another Steve - i'm stationed in Moline, IL .. don't know yet where my first off site week of training will be. They don't have the May class scheduled yet. The most likely choices of places will be Nashville, Madison, Milwaukee or Cleveland. My Dallas dates are gonna be June 5-16 and again on July 17-28. Hopefully they'll supply personal air-conditioning.
