appendix-not fun

just got back home after being in the hospital for 2 evenings, appendix burst and surgeon had to make 3 incisions (not key hole's) to remove everything, talk about pain like i never felt before until they gave me morphene (sp?).... worst 2 nights of my life.
worst part is falling behind classes that i missed this past week and being told to stay in bed till wednesday

Been there bro....it sucks. I actually ended up spending 4 nights.......Take your meds and try walking, that is one of the keys to recovery.... :SIB

that is what i have been trying to do, even though doc told me not to do the 4 min walk that it takes me from my room to my class, i'll see how i feel monday.

glad I got that out of the way when I was 14. It sure does suck having an appendicitis! You're fortunate to be doing as well as you are if it burst! People can die from that. Talk to imfekhlr (I think that's who it was).
