Are there any Google adwords PPC experts here?

Yes they see those ads first, but I truly believe most people look further down, within the top 10 is where you need to be to grab their attention

forget being at the top of the list, the big spenders look further and are drawn to something unique

I have it setup but I think someone who knows adwords better than I do could get me more clicks for less money than I am spending. There's a lot to understand in there that I don't know. I'm learning though. I think Google may help as well but not sure.

It's for my other business.

I had a feeling, use words like "look" View" "see" as opposed to "save" "deal" "bargain"

when they get to your website then further entice them with savings if you choose

now i am sure most of those words would be expensive, delete the last letter or 2 you will now be bidding on a word that is far less expensive, most people will type and look, they will see your site and click

I just realized for this post I was talking about something different

Good idea, I'll try that in a separate campaign and track it. :0008

I know it pretty well, but you may want to get someone who has a lot of experience with it. It could make a big difference. I'm no expert at it and there are a lot of people who have been working with it for several years.

You can always email me if you need any suggestions for your business. If you want someone with a lot of experience, I would suggest outsourcing a project/job to oDesk or eLance.

Jack this isn't a direct answer to your question, but if you have clients express their gratification, ask them to write you a positive google review. Most people use those reviews when making business choices. If you can get a bunch of clients to leave you feedback, it will increase your website's ranking in organic google search ranks but it will also lead to more business. It is significant for my business. It can be kind of tricky, because you don't want to necessarily solicit the reviews- but if people go out of their way to thank you, say they were pleased with your work- just tell them the best way to thank you is to leave some positive feedback. I didn't have as much luck with adwords but honestly it was probably because I didn't have the time to put into really understanding it. Like you mentioned, there's much more than it appears that goes into it and I felt like I was wasting $$ because I didn't really have the time to get a good understanding.

This is good advice too. Testimonials go a long way.

Another tip is you're perfectly safe using adsense. However, don't go out of your way to buy follow text links from sites you think would bring you business. Your website could be blacklisted from Google because they frown upon this.:0074

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be digging deeper into it next week and might have better questions. They have a lot of tools that I don't understand yet, I'll just have to make myself stick with it and understand it. It really works good but I know it would work better if I understood how to use it better.

Google has a pro league?

Ppc IS like fantasy football. In my experience. I do a lot of it for a retail business. Never done it for a company that was just going to visits/leads.

They will. They are actually quite effective for you and they do the first several sessions for free. It was a very good move when I did it for my company.

Take them up on it.
