Wasn't planning on putting any AC picks in the Derby thread, but had to stop in there to see if anybody found my derby stuff useful.

Nobody did

Put in my only AC picks.. but need to tell ANY AC fans that the no. 10 didn't look too good on the track. All AC bets are small though.

Three hosses did look pretty good, here they is...

1a, 6, 8.

I am sticking with the no. 10 and playing the 1A with the others in zactas.

JUST missed the zacta, no. 7 nailed the 8 at the wire for 2nd place. Result was 1A-7-8.

Even if the 8 did get 2nd that woulda been a two favorite exacta. Hmmm.. wonder if that woulda paid for a beer? Playing this track small, but still going with two favs. in exactas in this place AIN'T the way to go.

Don't see anything else so far. Don't believe there's any interest in AC around here anyways and I can't blame yas. I playem cause, at least, I know the connections and horses even if the shoe doesn't fit them.

If anbody is interested in AC, stop in and I'll post something IF I THINK ITS WORTHY. Capping wise for the 2nd I like 2-3-4. Gotta see them before playing anything though.

AGAIN, can ya believe this SHEEEET?

Race summary.....

4-3 clear of all the others all the way down the stretch and two others fire their boosters in VERY LATE stretch to just get their noses in front of the no.3.
No. 4 won, paid $15.20, 3 was 7-1.
Result was 4-7-5. Thems said,"Three way photo for 2nd" but I knew my goose's ass was in the fire.

Guess that's it.

Just something about AC.... TODAY set the attendance record for A.C. for the past 10 years. Nice to see that. Although, it's probably tourists and not real hossplayers.

Guess what... had the 1 and the 4 in the 3rd race TO WIN ONLY ON BOTH. Son A Ma Beech! :rant2:

1. I also had the no. 2 to win; yeah, I did know it was a SHE but her racing lines indicated that SHE didn't know it.

2. I saw the poker getting closer and closer to my ass down the stretch.. but it didn't touch this time

I see Bowler300 is hanging in here (forum that is). Not much else going on; maybe he/she is playing AC today? Post ya picks if you are, Bowler.

5 mins. to post, no. 8 (3-1 right now) looks like a cinch to get in the tri and PROB. first or second. BUT, this is AC

Waited for the replay to see why that 8 got such a poor start.. all I could see is that he just wasn't fast enough. s2:

Still stikin with $2 tickets for two mo days at his place. Ya gotta at a place where almost all of them are coming off long vacations. Maybe that was the reason since the 8 had a nice long one (241 days). Looked good on the track though.
