What a fucking roller coaster the last 3 days have been. Yesterday was a great lesson in not forcing plays.
Only looking at one match on the Men's side tonight. Medvedev and Tien have already played 3 times, all 3 last year, and all 3 went to a deciding set. Including one here.
Tien's 3 matches this tournament have gotten progressively easier, going from 5 sets to 4 to 3. I'm guessing tonight won't be any shorter than that, unless Medvedev retires early. Medvedev has been the opposite, going from 3 sets in his opener up to that grueling 5-setter in his last. Will the old man (he's 83 in tennis years) have anything left in the tank? I'm betting not much.
Tien 5 to win 7.6
Over 40.5 games 4.2 to win 4
Tien Over 19.5 2.3 to win 2
Ladies Doubles
Busca/Melichar-Martinez 3 to win 3.2
