I travel over 100 nights a year and do ALL my bookings thru Hotwire...it is amazing the savings you get:scared :00hour

i'm with ya on the travel part, but book don't book much at all thru oapque channels like hotwire because too often you don't get the perks and bennies of the hotel chain. I stick with on chain and it's well worth the extra couple dollars for all the niceties I end up with.

agree with you on the perks but my company loves me for all the money i save them and let it slide every once in a while when I throw in a $100 meal with drinks:00hour

plus if you are just going somewhere for a weekend, its really hard to beat what you can get:shrug:

I was in vegas back in jan and stayed at Trumps place, a 5 star hotel for $79 a night:mj06:

Thru hotwire, you can get a room at the tremont plaza for 91 bucks.

I put in the dates, 29 jun to 1 jul.

it spit back a 3.5 star hotel with ammenities for 91 a night. - which is the Tremont.

It's a pretty nice joint and very close to the aquarium and stuff. like 2-3 blocks if i remember right.

How do you know the name of the hotel? It doesn't tell you until after you pay...

they give enough information about what the hotel offers that people have entire websites and forums designed around which hotel equates to what star and what ammenities thru hotwire and priceline.

the 3 star in inner harbor is the radisson. blah. go with the tremont.

Got 4 front row tickets in left field for the June 29th game... :00hour

Staying at the Sheraton City Center from Hotwire, Thanks for the help!

As far as getting around Wash. DC, a tour bus was mentioned, how does that work and is that the best way? We will be staying in Balt. and driving to DC...

So Cal
I lived in D.C for 17years.

Its much more safe and its really sassy now.
the placed did a total makeover and anywhere in N.E would be a great place to stay. its close to all the museums and georgetown. plenty of good food too. 2 recomendations to eat .
1st. Lauriol plaza. cuban/mexican cuisine.
cerviche is the best. massitas is great good mexican and very reasonable.
On 18th between S and T.
The place has a great outdoor patio area too.

2nd. Clydes . a little bit of everything .
they have 2 happy hours. 4-6pm then 11-1 am
Raw bar is simple wonderful. fresh great oysters, clam, shrimp, crab claws, and 1 lobster tail .a dozen of each on a giant silver tray covered in ice is only is $48 during happy hour. plenty of other great food and beer too.
It's right next to the Verizon Center in china town.
very close to metro stops too.

Try at least 1 you will not be dissapointed

hope you enjoy
