Where it is real F ing COLD
Didn't want to high jack the other thread.

But they only played one team in the top 10 offensively. I'm not saying they won't beat New England but they will have to score a bunch to do it.

Balty faced Pitt twice who finished 12 th in offense

Texans who were 13th

Then tennessee 17th

Zona 19

Cincy 20

and the other teams were in the bottom 8

Jets
Niners
Seattle
Colts'
st Louis
Jags..

So anyone can brag about Balty's defense all they want as they did finish in the top 3 in yardage given up but if you want to rely on that defense based on this against the Pats is foolish..

Played one team in the top 5 offensively and it was San Diego and they got torched. Balty played poorly on the road in a few games this year and I can't back them ML based on "Defense" when this is the shit they played. I can back them based on the Pats defense though and I expect Blatimore to play much better offensively this week.

Comparing one game

What offenses did NE play that were better?

They played #8 and #12 and lost both, Giants and Steelers. They played #14 Buffalo and lost once.

Baltimore played the #1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 defenses and WON!

NE played nothing like that, nothing.

You can twist and turn all you want but it's ain't working.

Show me ONE quality NE win this season. I can show you 7 and if you can come up with one, I bet the Ravens beat them too.

All NE has going for them in this game is home field and the last time the Ravens played them at NE the Ravens sent them home.

You have nothing, nothing, NOTHING to go by to show me NE -8 is the way to bet this game.

They could win, I'm not predicting anything, but to play NE because of how the Ravens played SD at SD is totally ridiculous!

BTW, shitty Flacco's QB rating Sunday was 100 vs the #2 defense in the NFL.

That's all the other teams played too.

What offensive powerhouse did NE play to make them rank last in DEFENSE? NONE!

I've got news for you. Baltimore has a decent offense, they just played all teams with top 10 defenses. NE DIDN'T.

So you want to talk about skewed stats, look at the defenses NE played. They lost to any half decent defense they played.

Wanna judge ONE game? Judge NE/PIT and compare how "Balty" played them and the outcome.

Well that's exactly my point. If New England loses it will be because of their defense not the Ravens.

And NE's offense is not as good as advertised.

Think the same thing that happened to packers will happen to pats. Believe Ravens will manhandle themthey won't know what hit them especially stepping up in caliber from Denver. Brady will get frustrated just like Rodgers and it will snowball. Ravens can also cover the tight end and hit them which they are not used to. You think raven defense is worried about the rb woodhead and Pats wide receivers I don't.

The topic of this thread really wasn't to knock the Ravens. It has been said that "Defenses win championships." Yes that can be true but you have to have an offense as well. You can't just win games on defenses alone unlike when Tampa and Baltimore did a few years ago.

Saying that, Baltimore's defense isn't good enough to win a championship on it's own. They are going to have to get help from the offense. This defense of the Ravens will give up at least 27 points to the Pats, they will get spread out and lag behind. I can only compare this to the Chargers game cause this is the only sample size I have. It's all I have to go by.

Who's to say the Ravens won't hang a 30 on the Pats D? If you take the Ravens ML. you may as well take the over.

How many points do the Ravens hold the Pats to? 20? Under 20? UNDER 27?

You think the Pats are worried about an over rated secondary with a gimpy Reed.

I think the Pats are more worried about Ray Rice, Boldin, and Torey Smith to be honest. Plus the Ravens O - Line could control this game as well. I would assume they will try

Try UNDER rated with the 4th best pass defense in the NFL.

Please stick to the NFC :0003

And Reed is FINE.

Baltimore won 1 game away from home, that wasnt in their division..@ 2-14 St. Louis

losses

@ Tenn 26-13
@ Jax 12-7
@ Sea 22-17
@ SD 34-14

those teams had a combined record of 29-35...thats more concerning to me then who the patriots beat.....

Just have that feeling if patriots get out to 10-0, 13-0, 14-3 lead etc.....Cam cameron will fall off his rocker again and start winging the ball around all game.....as long as Balt sticks to the gameplan of running 60% of the time, controlling the clock, they'll be in position to win or atleast cover......

So now the division away games don't count?

Against tough teams too.

Both tougher teams with a WINNING record, something NE couldn't accomplish until they played Denver at HOME.

Hell, if they had won ALL their games there would still be the haters.

Aside from the SD game, they letdown after a big win. Teams let down sometimes. I'll blame it on the coaching, I guess.

They DO get UP for the BIG games. Sunday will be a BIG game.

Go ahead and load up on NE, I'm not even going to bet, just trying to explain where you guys are wrong.

Cam Cam is a problem. I have no idea why they keep him, the fans have been calling for his head every week for 2 years.

How do these people get these jobs?

Baltimore should have the 4 th best pass defense!

Dalton twice
Whatever browns threw twice
St Louis anemic
Jax gabbart
San Fran they getting better
Sanchez
T Jackson

Christ green bay would be in the top 15 with that shit

I think most here would agree if the texans had anything at qb that defense would have been shredded!

NE didn't beat any team with a winning record the entire regular season. They finally beat Denver to get that out of the way.

What about the Ravens record against playoff teams? NO OTHER TEAM IN THE NFL HAD A 7-0 vs playoff teams.
