i don`t know....i have serious questions about flacco......but there were two huge drops by big time receivers....

i`m not ready to hang this one on flacco...

Weasel u throw a pick right after a fumble then u fumble the snap. He was single handedly bringing Pitt back in the game. anyway the refs are the ones who fuked ya. They took the punt return off of ya that puts ya in the lead. On the 4th and 19 if he doesn't catch it the refs still thru a flag to continue that drive. and now Pitt is down there and would have went three and out yet they find a defensive holding call to extend the drive just to get Pitt in the endzone. No defense can survive all of that

i`m wasn`t crazy about the reffing...but rather than go off on that tired b..s.,i`d like to mention the difference in defensive philosophy...

on their clutch drive, the steelers were blitzing from everywhere....they were coming, coming coming regardless of down and distance....they were playing to make something happen on defense......

two times on crucial downs the ravens rushed 3.....they were seemingly playing on their heels at times.....i`m sure there are times when this is a sound tactic....but it didn`t workthis time...

it seems like one team was playing to win and the other just to hang in.....

whatever...it was another steeler/raven classic...the steelers always deem to have our number...

Flacco did have two big drops but how many times this year have quarterbacks tore that defense apart but today Flacco couldn't find anyone? Missing Heap at the end by twenty yards was another killer. He reminds me of McNab. He throws one good pass and then two bad ones

Shannon sharpe just said what a poorly officiated game that was. I wonder if he will have a job next year :mj07:

Probably had cash on the Ravens.
Cowher pretty much blamed Sharpe in the pregame for starting this rivalry with his trash talking back in the day. Too funny...

Cmon man the refs were awful when it counted at the end and every call went to Pitt. Thankgod he had the balls to say it while the other three trained monkeys sat there like it was the greatest game ever.

they were blitzing cause they were doing it against a shitty quarterback. If baltimore blitz Ben, Ben would of ate them up. Plus Balt was getting pressure even with the three man blitz.

Pitt was blitzing and their dbacks are terrible except Troy. Flacco still had time and couldn't find anyone. Flacco on the one play scrambled and then ran out of bounds for a five yard loss. What idiot runs out of bounds like that carrying the ball with him. The guy can't make decisions fast enuf.

Ben, Brady, Peyton, Brees...you are right Sponge...

I look at Flacco on the sidelines and wonder if he has a clue...He shows no emotion ever and attitude reflects leadership....

Balt reminds me of the Eagles all over again when Mcnab was here. The dominating defense with a quarterback who kills ya when the pressure turns up a notch.

Almost every pass Ben completed at the end had to be perfect. it is sad how that defense played to get quarterbacking like that. They were cracking guys left and right. Sackin Ben with rushing three guys. Reed looked posessed. I can't imagine being Lewis to once again watch my quarterback kill me while his side left their hearts out on the field.

the last 2 drives of the game...

when the ravens went into their prevent, they didn`t even feign a blitz...they just dropped everybody back...i think that`s bad football....

when the steelers were on "d",they had guys up and down the line faking the blitz...no way you could tell where they were coming from....

i just like the steeler style better..makes a qb think and have to account for people....roethlisberger was just standing there surveying the field while flacco was watching guys fly back and forth on the line of scrimmage...

i`m listening to radio show now..there`s gonna be hell to pay....

this one`s gonna leave a mark...

the radio guys(who are big time raven apologists) are using words like "choke artists" and "whiners"(in regard to our high profile wideouts who spent the whole year crying about getting the ball more)....

it`s ugly..uglier than i can remember....

Can we just stop with the ref whining. Yes they suck, it goes both ways. Actually I don't know what your bitching about the Steelers were flagged 9 times for 96 yds, Ravens 6 times for 74 yds.

Refs didn't implode in the 3rd qtr, Balty did.

Steelers could have been flagged 50 times for all i care. Every back breaking impact changing call went against the Ravens at the end. And i didn't have money on the game but am a realist when a team is blatantly being cheated. Now if u didn't notice that i advise u to never bet again because there might be something wrong with ur eyesight. One thing this corrupt league and bookies love is guys like u who act like the refs call it straight.

Did the refs make Rice fumble when barely being touched?

Did the refs make Flacco horribly overthrow Heap and right to Ryan Clark?

Did the refs keep the Ravens defense from holding the Steelers to field goals instead of touchdowns off those turnovers?

Did the refs help the Steelers defense keep the Ravens to 126 yards of total of offense?

Did the refs make Housh and Boldin drop key first downs?

I had money on the Steelers and I will admit that I have NEVER seen a defensive holding call on a run.:mj07:

I will take it though. This time:mj07:
