I guess I've been watching too many bowl game collapses but I'm not all that worried? And hell, I'm usually one of the first to throw in the towel! :mj07: :142smilie

I am trying to stay optimistic, but I keep getting killed on the NFL....and since this is taking place on an NFL day, my NFL pessimism is shining through.

If, somehow, CU can close the gap before half, I will regain some optimism......and, theres always the second half line.....or tomorrow's games!!

glen thanks for the confidence booster
can I call you before my next date with an ark razor back?

ps I have been drinking

Absolutely. We can do a whole Stuart Smalley thing. I like that you keep your women confined to the SEC. You're selective. :SIB

Trust me, I hear ya. I've been getting killed in the bowls the last few days so I've been pretty damn pessimistic on these boards. I actually had a decent day in the NFL today. Maybe that's why I'm not such a downer for once.

You're clearly one of the better cappers on here. Even if you have a bad day today, there are A LOT of bowls coming up. Don't worry about it...

Congrats to Bama backers. Looks like the over will be no problem either. I knew that after 6 unders, it was bound to hit soon.

Wow, I do appreciate the compliment....my month of November would like to take issue with your statement, though! :mj07: Crap, worst month I have ever had with college/pro football....it has continued in the NFL this month, its just been a total collapse. I've been doing well in primetime games like MNF and thursday, but Sundays have been lethal......luckily I got hot when the bowls started....nice start to college hoops also, but have leveled off a bit.

I really learn a lot from the much better and experience cappers on this site!!

maybe we'll some inspiration on a second half bet, as it would be nice to hack off some of this inevitable loss!

Why even punt there? I mean, you're down 27 and can't get a stop on D to save your life. Conventional wisdom may have to take a backseat at this point.

Things wont be that bad if the Titans win. And if the Lakers win. Its like How to Dig a Hole 101....making a rare NBA play because I'm chasing and need action....cripes......you know that would not be happening if I had to go to work tomorrow. I'd just go to bed, taking my losses.

All things being equal, pretty damn glad to not have work tomorrow!! Go Lakers! Go Titans! Go Some as of Yet Bet to be Placed on This Game or the Titans second half!!

FWIW, I put this shellacking squarely on the shoulders of the Colorado coaching staff. There's no way in hell Bama is this much more talented than Colorado. In fact, I would argue they're pretty damn even. This is all about the coaches not having their kids prepared to play. Terrible job.
