While I like Bama to win rather handily, I have decided that the better play for that game will be the Alabama TT Over. I think they will score at will like most games this year, but I feel even more confident with this one since I do think Florida has a chance to at least keep it somewhat close for a while which will keep Bama scoring. I see 50+ again and will hit this hard as soon as it is posted. I have done very well with TT this year.

Bason-- I got it at 45.5

I still think the Clemson line may drop a little. I think ND money is waiting to see if it goes any higher, and from what I can tell, there is a lot of ND love out there. I definitely think Clemson is the better overall team and will be very well prepared with the time off. Have to remember that they were also missing 3 defensive starters (2 linebackers and a DL which definitely helped ND run the ball) in the last game in addition to Lawrence and the ND offense was not exactly stellar in that game as they only had 2 TDs in regulation. Clemson also turned it over 3 times. Many saying this is a different ND team than the past, but I will believe it when I see it it.

Most of my friends think I am nuts liking Northwestern and I think most agree with them. I am just not a believer in this Ohio State team after what I saw in the second half against Indiana. I love the way Northwestern plays. If their offense were better I would be playing the money line in this one. Just need Northwestern D to keep it close because they likely will not be able to come back if they get too far down. I will be wearing purple on Saturday!!

I did play this 3-team 10 point teaser:

Iowa State +15.5
Clemson -.5
Bama Ov 63

Never a believer in Oklahoma in big games and I think Iowa State is the better coached team. I see no reason they can not beat them again.

BASON - I agree with you 100% on BAMA. Best of luck and love all the writeups!

I also agree with the ND love out there - you think there would/is ever a chance they decide to move from being an indep and move into a conference, such as ACC? They play a # of ACC teams a year anyway don't they? I know $$ talks and they have a deal with NBC with TV rights, but ACC does get a lot of love with spotlight games from ESPN, ACCN, etc. Granted they went undefeated but there is no conf champ game being an indep and I'm sure would be on the fence if went 9-1 with no conf champ game going into conf champ week (if ACC did not grant them in this season). Thoughts?

Thanks Prison Mike and welcome.

Well my ND love was right as I now see 9.5 at Heritage. I think it may come down even more.

I do not believe Notre Dame will move unless they more or less forced to do so. Yes, they have to play 5 ACC teams but then have full flexibility which they love. Allows them to play games that gain national attention and keeps their fans excited with a different schedule. They would actually get more money if they were in a conference. They think it plays into their "brand" and separates them. They love to tout that they use the tv money to fund financial aid. They love being able to play a national schedule and being a product that their fans can see all over the country. Big ego!!

Finally got it in:

Bama TT Ov 45.5

I just do not see how Florida is going to stop them. Looked at this game way too long and I just keep coming back to this play. I can see this game being closer than many think, but Florida staying in the game just makes the TT look even more attractive to me.

I have not added to Clemson yet. I am going to see how the Northwestern game (and my soccer play) goes first before I decide on an amount. Have a big middle now in the Northwestern game if I want it now that the line is down to 16.5, but I do not like middles in college, especially with a larger line. I was dead on with this line and happy with my 21.5.

Home watching today so I will update if I add.

Won a few bucks in soccer so I am adding a new play:

San Jose +7.5 -118

I think they have a good chance to win this game so I will take the points.

Northwestern is just gifting this game to Ohio State.

Big win with Northwestern. Ohio State is just who I thought they were. I am sure they will get into the playoffs which will present another great money making opportunity. I will be betting against them as soon as the line comes out. They are average at best and Fields is not nearly as good as the media thinks he is.

Not adding anymore to Clemson. Going to use some winnings to mess around with in-game betting in that one, especially if ND scores first. Plus I have them in a lot of other bets.

I got this in almost as soon as it came out:

BYU -3 -118

I like BYU to be more prepared for this game and I am never a Central Florida fan against good teams.

Just sitting and waiting to get the Clemson line. I will pounce and likely max it out if I can get it at 6.5.

Just put it in:

Clemson -6 -125

I do not think much of Ohio State. Based on what I saw yesterday, Clemson should beat them rather easily. Fields will have to have a "field" day for them to compete and I just do not think he is a great passing QB. Meanwhile, I expect Lawrence to throw all over Ohio State. Still can not get Indiana throwing all over them. Northwestern just did not have the offense to win yesterday. Clemson will be a different story. Hit it hard out of the gate.

BYU now up to 6.5!

I put this in today:

Buffalo -3 -122

Marshall's offense is terrible. They play some defense but they simply can not score enough to win this game.

Waiting for the Army line. Have to bet them!

Will likely also be on the BYU TT.

I love betting against OK, but not sure what kind of effort you get from Florida and who will be on the field. Some of these games are tough to cap and can not be played until game day.

West Va opened at 9 and went right to 7.5. Not sure anyone got the 9, but I put it in:

Army +7.5

You know you are getting nothing but an A+ effort from Army after all this BS, so I will gladly take a TD.

Bason,

Clemson gets hit with the "They haven't really played anyone good other than one team" tag,
and sometimes that is a valid point, but on the other hand - you can only beat whoever is on your schedule.

Like you said, the Indy game has to be factored heavily.
Ohio St hasn't faced an elite passing game and balanced attack like Clemson.
It wasn't a good year all around for a mediocre Big Ten, and the bowl season isn't going to be kind to them.

Thanks for the tip/analysis, I'm going to ride it with you.

Luck to you this bowl season . . .

Rich
