Thanks!! Will feel better if we can bring this ND game home.

Okay, been round and round with this Maryland game. My struggle is that I just do not how Maryland is going to respond to all their down time. They are also missing a lot of players that are still in quarantine. Indiana is not a great match up for them and has not been even when they were not as good as this year. Little Tua could end up running for his life in this game because Indiana has a great pass rush and Maryland offensive line is average at best. Indiana is in a classic let down spot after the Ohio State game where they fought to the end. I like their coach and I think they will be ready to play this game. If they play like they did last week, I think they win by 2 touchdowns. I am laying off the game for now (maybe halftime play), but if I was forced to play it I would buy Indiana down to -10.

I will be on the Clemson TT as soon as I see it. I think they are chomping at the bit to play, especially if ND happens to lose. I think they put a lot of point up against Pitt. I was loving this play last week also before Florida State pussied out.

I like that Indy take. Waiting for live in game has been beneficial more than not so far. For me at least. thnks for your take. For now I did use Indy -3 in a nice lil tease with Mich +7.5 (god help me) -125 odds not bad. Been teasing games I like then putting in 2 tm pars. Been keeping me afloat for the longest stretch ever in my gmlbng career. Like Mr Garcia says When things go this good theres usually trouble at the door :142smilie

"I have no idea what Tom Herman is doing. "

Bason,

I commented on the same thing.

You could make an argument for going for it on 4th down. I wouldn't have done it, and I said it was a moronic move based on the score, the time left in the game, and the previous two plays in the series, but I can see where some would defend the decision (Tom, his mom, wife and kids.)

But his failure to run the ball and set up the FG in the final plays on the final possession??!!
WTF was that play calling all about?

There's second guessing and then there's stating fact - and it's a fact that there was some horrific, inexcusable play calling by Herman that cost them the game.

Anyway . . .

Continued success to you this season,

Rich

Thanks Rich. I was actually a big fan of Herman before he went to Texas, but he has not gotten the job done in 4 years. They are no better than they were when he started and I think his decisions today could not have been worse. Maybe they keep him for the last year of his contract but I think that will be it. Would not be surprised if he ends up successful somewhere else.

Well, I was dead on about Notre Dame. I just got a little greedy with the TT. I did not like the over for the game because of ND's defense but I thought their offense would do more. You saw the issues with Book today. He is a gamer and makes some plays but he is not a pocket passer. Said it before, and I will say it again, if they play Clemson with Lawrence, I think they get beat bad. They are a good team, but they are not the second best team in the country.

Keep debating between the total and the team total. I have the total in a couple parlays so I will stick to posting the team total:

Clemson TT Ov 40.5
Clemson TT Ov 9.5 1st Qtr

I could be wrong about this one given the time off, but I just think Clemson comes out firing today, so that is why I added the first quarter bet. Would not be surprised if they put up at least 50 for the game.

One more team total that I like:

Boise TT Ov 34.5

They have put up 40 or more in all 4 of their wins, so I expect much of the same at home.

That is it for the day.

Thanks Keith, it came down after I made the bets.

Getting sick of this shit.

Someone at Florida State needs to be fired. Two weeks in a row they cancel right before the game. It is completely ridiculous. I do not care what the circumstances, people there are not doing their jobs. At a minimum the AD needs to go.

Man, this MD/IND game is brutal. Think I am going to have to start drinking early today.

And I can not wait for Jim Harbaugh to be fired. All I want for Xmas is for him and his brother to be unemployed.

Have to apologize for the Michigan play. Got too caught up in how bad Penn State was and ignored how bad Michigan really is. Never been a fan and I can not stand Harbaugh, so this pisses me off more. You will never see a play from me on them again while he is coach which should not be long. He should be fired after this game and is one of the most overrated coaches in all of football.

This pissed me off too. I thought they looked like they were playing hard for the new QB. Boy was I wrong.

That is gambling for you. Go 4-1 on posted plays and still a little pissed about the one. Still another great weekend. Clemson game went exactly as planned. I had a lot of bets on that one so it was a nice payoff.

Likely will get even more selective moving forward. Been on a nice run so I like to book profits along the way and finish up with some house money.

We have been killing it in the soccer forum so stop by for some more winners.

Initial review of the card does not yield anything right away though I am very tempted to take Rutgers +10.5. Penn State wins one game and is now a double digit road favorite. Not buying it. Will continue to review and see if anything stands out. There are some games I like but the lines were even higher than I thought they would be. When was the last time Bama was a 4 td favorite over LSU?

Put the first play in:

BYU -9.5

I love that they added this game as it is a great one for college football. I have enjoyed betting on both these teams this year and Coastal has been a great story, but I think they have bitten off more than they can chew here against a BYU team that is eager to prove how good they really are. I really like this BYU team, but I could see Coastal hanging for a while based on emotion, but I think that emotion will only carry them so far. I think BYU is just too physical on both side of the ball and they will wear Coastal down. This is by far the best team they have faced this year. Coastal will likely be a popular play, but I have to go with the better team. I thought this number would be a little lower but I will stick with it as BYU will get more stops and I think Coastal will have a hard time getting stops against Wilson.

BYU TT could be a play also. I will likely have some FH plays on some of the bigger favorites also.

Added a little more to BYU as I am liking it more and more.

Played two FH TTs:

Clemson TT Ov 23.5
Bama TT Ov 26.5

I think both teams continue to come out strong and make statements again today.

Good luck today. I would think Clemson will cover the -13 spread in first half if they go over the total. Taking both and may do the same w Bama.

I agree and I have them both in a FH parlay. I just try to limit the plays I post. The FH angles with these big favs in the top 4 have been great plays the last few years. I just do not trust Ohio State so I left them out. I do not think they are as good as most think. For me, Clemson and Bama are the two best teams in the country. Cincy would be my #4 right now.

If you are going to talk the talk you better walk the walk!!

You know I hate being wrong about games I feel good about, but I was just wrong. BYU did not adjust well to the short time for the game and I should have accounted for this more, but I was just wrong about the line of scrimmage. Have to give Coastal a lot of credit. They handled themselves very well on both lines of scrimmage and that is why they won the game. They run blocked very well and got pressure on Wilson who was not very good in this game. Very impressed with the Coastal coaching staff and I think they definitely out-coached BYU's staff. I thought we would see better halftime adjustments. I like this Coastal team all year, but just thought BYU was better. Just wrong about this one, so we move on.
