Alright guys which do you prefer. I ask for suggestions on a name for our new BBQ catering business in another thread but welcome them here as well. Which of the listed names do you prefere? Thanks

Two Coaches BBQ has a great ring to it and just by the name alone you know what you're going to get. Encompasses a lot in one simple phrase.

Hog Heaven sucks. Don't use it. Seen that one everywhere - especially the gypsy BBQ folk.

Jeff and Ricks sounds queer.

Smoky Oinkers is funny. Not bad.

Fine Swine and Slippery Pig are OK - but I think you have better to pick from.

I understand Butt Ugly - but again, I think you have better to pick from.

I kinda like Slippery Pig. Although I always like when you can incorporate your own name into a business, if you can actually make it work for your type of business that is.

Another thing... the possibilities are endless if you wanted to have the word 'Hog' in your business name:

Hog Wild BBQ
Whole Hog BBQ
High on the Hog BBQ
Two Coaches Ballhog BBQ (wait, maybe you don't want to have the word ball in the title) :142smilie

I bought a 'satellite' BBQ joint from a friend of mine in Wichita, KS in the early '90's...where the Selmon family (OU fame) first started.

I gave ownership to someone else in the name, called it ...

Bovine & Swine's
The BBQ Company

Across from Raytheon Aircraft...if anyone called for Bovine or Swine, instructed the great crew of kids working with me...
'...we are owned by a large corporation out of Europe....I have a to go order on hold. Bye :142smilie

Basically exactly what my thoughts are, so I'll just quote the source. :)

or ebola...:grins: :rimshot

you have to be courageous and trust in people`s sense of humor...

/on second thought...

Errr... Ecoli is the food one, right? :mj03: I have a hard time keeping my diseases that start with 'e' straight.

As for trusting in people's sense of humor... that's a scary proposition, especially when you're asking them to recognize something that's witty.

"Jeff's" (or whatever) Pit BBQ would be just fine.
There is a bbq joint that opened recently in my area and they are busy as hell.

But then again, I live in hickville USA
This was the "big news" in my area this week, it made the front page of the local newspaper. I have to admit, I laughed my ass off too.
