Forgot that LSU played these schools. That's a pretty good non conference schedule. Good for an SEC school to go out on a limb for once. Might help them in the long run since the SEC doesn't seem near as strong this year.

LSU closes up OOC with McNeese and UL-M. Nothing to write home about, but compared to the masses it is a solid OOC schedule........

Well, I guess that settles it:mj07:

Not necessarily, it just means that the SEC is getting their typical love from the pollsters. Hard to tell if they are any good when none of the teams will play a decent non conference opponent on the road. Show me one that has and I will give them their props.

Auburn played Clemson. And at the time of the agreement, Clemson was tops in the preseason polls.

Remember these games are planned out years in advance.

Sadly, that's all I got for my Tigers...

it will be a shame if boise continues to get fucked out of a chance for the nc. all they do is continue to beat anyone who will play them (i give credit to oregon and oregon st for playing them the last couple years, but i wouldn't be shocked if those games were scheduled before boise became so good). for crying out loud, they beat oregon the last two years. anyone who really knows football (and isn't blinded by a love of the 'power conferences') knows that boise is one of the best teams in the country and deserves a shot.

quick tangent... does anybody believe the big east is better than the mountain west this year? the line between the top conference and the next couple conferences is getting blurrier every year.

i'm just a huge fan of college football, and i want to see the best/most deserving teams play for the nc. boise has done everything to earn that shot, starting with beating oklahoma in the fiesta bowl a couple years ago.

ok, i'm off my soapbox now. i've had a few birthday beers. :toast:

How funny would it be for Aub to go undeafeted again and get left out again.

Would be cool in terms of shutting up the whining of the anti-SEC crowd, but unrealistic because LSU will win going away this saturday:SIB
