the only people that will tell you a cleanse will work and benefit you are the people selling you the cleansing kit.
My Beach body coach pushes this stuff nonstop but I have never bought it. The guy who originally got me into beach body said to not waste my money on it so I never bought it. :shrug:

Its a 21 day detox basically
Couple of hosts on the sports radio station here swore by it.. So I gave it a shot.. The diet is very strict but man did it work. I lost weight but also had a ton of energy and slept better than I ever had.

Thanks. I will take a look at this. Not looking to lose much weight but figured I would do a really good cleanse before starting P90X again. I still eat some bad stuff for your body and thought this would do the trick.
Paying $300 for that shit is a total joke and people that do are total idiots. Me for one. You can do the same without buying the crap they are selling. Seriously! I mean SERIOUSLY!
The only people that bought that shit and say it was worth it are just trying to justify that they didn't get ripped off and got their moneys worth. Cie bought it and I highly doubt he endorses the product.

I just don't have the time to put together a plan like this. I'll check out a few other things before I pay for that.
Having tried numerous 2-3 week cleanse products, I'd say you can achieve the same results without spending the money. Each of the products I tried led to my cutting some weight, but mainly because i ate well and exercised, which is something that I do less of year to year. I remember trying the cleanse gibber mentioned. While I'm sure I cut weight on it, I do not recall any specifics. The cleanses ive tried have all worked well in terms of getting me back into a healthy lifestyle, from which I have a tendency to stray as a result of my immense love of food, beer and wine.
Imo, if over the course of 21 days you exercise daily, drink plenty of water and enjoy a balanced diet of vegetables, complex carbs, leans proteins and good fats, then it would only seem reasonable that your waistline will shrink. As for energy and sound sleep, the balanced diet should help with energy. Plus, daily exercise typically helps me sleep me better, not that I sleep poorly otherwise....
Coincidentally, I started a 20 day 'cleanse' without any products on Thursday. I will roll through June 24. Starting weight was 199. I'll probably be at 187-191 on June 24. My exercise includes elliptical for 45 minutes daily with some swimming this weekend cuz I'm at the beach.
Breakfast
Egg white omelette with veggies. Combinations of mushrooms, onion, spinach, tomato, poblano, Anaheim pepper, jalapeno
Or oatmeal with flax and fruit
Lunch
Lentils or other legumes...meatless
With side of broccoli or lettuce and tomato salad with olive oil and vinegar
Snack
Fat free yogurt plain. Add flax seeds daily and sometimes fresh fruit
Dinner
Baked, grilled or roasted Lean meat, fish or shrimp
Veggie or salad
Nothing fried
No sweets
Only dairy is the yogurt

Doesn't the 'Lemon Cleanse' floating around out there provide the same type of desired results, all for less than 10 bucks?
I just started a cleanse today. I'm not doing it for the weight loss though. I drink too many energy drinks and pre workout drinks. I'm positive I suffer from adrenal fatigue because of it.
This is the first day in years I haven't woken up and had an energy drink. I woke up and had one of these Lichi 6 day cleanse drinks. I was worried I would be in the restroom all morning but hasn't happened yet. I took 2 Alieves to start the morning because I know I'll be getting headaches.
