Nobody needs to be pissed on when they do poorly, and the only people whom do that, are people with an agenda against that handicapper, or just stone cold losers. Why would you shit on someone who is having a tough time of it? I never understood that!
Supposedly, we are all here to post our plays, and root the whole forum on. (That, of course, will never happen.) We all have our personal pissing matches from time to time, but an out and out slam on someone's record is bullshit, and always will be.
It's real easy to come here under a new name every 3 months, until you finally hit 60% winners. It's real easy to post a game two minutes after it went off, and then brag, "I hope you had this winner that I gave you!" after it wins. It's real easy to post, "I went 6-1 yesterday!" after the fact.
It's not real easy to lay your shit out for public view after having a few bad weeks. Not easy to post a losing record. Not easy to listen to assholes who revel in your failure. But, the guys with pride, and ability, realize losing is a part of the cycle of gambling.
Football season brings out the maggots en force to these forums, each and every season. Over the next three weeks, we will see 100 new posters with stories of, "You should have seen my plays last year at *****sports!" Or, "Guys, I have been doing this for years, and............"
The bullshit comes in barrels this time of year.
Me? I think if you win the first week of the season, you should pack you bags, and call it a good year! This is a very hard thing to make money at, and I know I have made a ton of cyber-enimies with my sentiment that winning on football is about 90% pure horseshit luck, but I will stand by that statement forever.
Nick, you keep working on your plays, and things will get back to a more stable ground. I have been extremely fortunate this season in bases, as I have not had a bad run yet. I fully expect it to come, as it always does. I was lucky enough to have the bounces go my way all season, and stick to a minimum amount of bets. I will finish in the black, as there is no way I will give that money all back. (It will make a nice addition to the football bankroll!)
I just know there are plenty of 'haters' out there, waiting to toss the tomatoes at me when I have a bad week!
Don't be the guy who makes an ass of himself by calling out the guys having a hard time of it. If that is what gives you pleasure, I truely feel for you...................
