Nirvana- remember when bootlegs were hard to get- I used to frequent a place on the jersey shore in pt pleasant that sold bootleg cds, shit they were like 30-40 bucks back then which was a shitload- I was in that teen angst period right in their prime stretch. I was seriously sad when kurt died.

Seen phish twice on some mushrooms, quite an experience, pearl jam is always good, tool is pretty great live, allman brothers, bb king was good considering his age. Seeing cold war kids next weekend and j roddy walston and the business next month, def worth seeing live.

I've seen 'em all and they were all good. BOC played in Akron in '76 when Cities on Flame with Rock and roll was almost an anthem. Anyways I took a first date with me.Naturally, we smoke a little weed,(like 90% of kids did in '76) before the concert and the tramp actually fell asleep when the concert was blaring. The bitch.

Saw British rock band The Darkness live when they were at their peak. They put on a hell of a show.

I've seen Clapton and Bon Jovi a few times and they put on good shows.

Would have loved to have seen Queen live. ACDC would be cool as well

Cold War Kids put on a good show. Also agree on Rush and Allman Brothers that were mentioned. No Doubt when they were first coming up and were still ska-punk put on a great show. Weezer opened up for them and they only had one album out at the time.

Rage definitely was a good show live. Saw Audioslave on their second tour when they started adding in Rage and Soundgarden songs to the set. Was a terrible venue for acoustics but still a great show.

Morello is a pretty talented guitarist in my novice opinion. Cool thing about the Rage or Audioslave shows in Chicago is that his little old mom would come on walking gingerly across the stage to introduce them.

My problem with Nirvana is that when they get into their fast paced songs live, they start to sound like shit. Kurt was amazing live with the slower songs but the faster ones didn't translate well.

KISS - Saw them live at Tiger Stadium. Was a really cool concert but I wouldn't say they were anything but entertaining live.

Cheap Trick - Saw them here in Columbus, OH before I moved down here. "Okay" at best live. Was cool to see them, but that's about it.
