It has to be the '08 Steelers. Only a team of the decade could have beaten the Cards.

It's the 2007 Patriots. Not the 2007-08 Patriots. 
I would take the '07 Patriots in a one game scenario vs. the '00 Ravens only because the Patriot's defense was MUCH better than the Ravens offense.
The two teams' strengths were great to watch!
If you are only choosing one side of the ball, then the '00 Ravens' defense wins hands-down.

That Ravens D was probably best defense in NFL history. Their offense was not good at all that year. They somewhat dominated that super bowl but got a HUGE break early. Defensive "holding" took away a Giant TD that would have made it 7-7 and COMPLETELY changed the game.
Instead they did what great defenses do and played field position and won the game easily. That one play really decided the game. Not saying NYG would have won, but it would have been a game.

ya, Because undefeated NFL seasons are very common, I believe decades ago exactly 1 team accomplished this.
