This is great. First of all, their female correspondents are way hotter than CNN's (Malkin, Kendall, etc.). Secondly, Brit Hume actually surmised that they could end up on Newsbusters for reporting results too early (that'd be like Olbermann ending up on Media Matters). And of course, the mood on the set is just positively morbid.

I'm sure it doesn't speak well for me that I am watching the pall at Fox News so gleefully. But hey, I also switched to NESN rather than YES for postgame coverage when Aaron Boone hit that dinger in the 2003 ALCS. Sometimes you just gotta love watching the other side lose.

So. Cal
actually it was more comical to watch cnn, abc, cbs, nbc, msnbc in 2004, 2002, and 2000 when the gleefully danced around announcing that their guys had won.

only to lose

each time

then to see them report that they were wrong.

hilarious.

not sure if you ever watch but most of the people you are watching on fox actually predicted that this would happen and that it was possible for the dems to win the senate (still might not actually happen)

im just waiting to officially hear that the reps lost the house and the senate so i can call sharpton and jesse to say i was disenfranchised and demand a recount and a lawsuit.....IM A VICTIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy babbitt

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy babbitt

Someone is going to walk over and put a feedbag on Britt Hume when he announces the Dems have taken over.

Maybe some of the Fox team were predicting Dems would win but not that Hannity. Hannity now has to remove that great big republican pakaderm trunk from his a$$.

i frankly don't give a flying f@ck who wins what. i am conservative to a fault, but i am sick of bush and the war. i am tired of the republicans getting a free ride because we oppose "abortion". the spending is at an all time ridiculous rate and i am worn the fuck out.

i will never support the liberal side of politics and i certainly do not support the party that helps the gov dependents to stay that way, but i am so tired of the current republican way at this point.

by the way, hannity is a fine radio host and i support his views for the most part.

also, do not care for corker a bit, but i am happy to say it appears that ford jr. is done - without some bull shit injuction...................

I just switch to fox. It's like a funeral. Sounds like Dem's only get the house not the Senate whats wrong with that. Grid Lock. Chit lots of money should be saved. And maybe the real middle class can sneak in with a tax break. Of course the top one % will have to pay for it. But they got so much they won't even know that it's missing.
And Yes Hannity will have to eat crow. But get ready for his biggest spin job yet. Even tho he got caught with his dick in his hand.. Next project for us is keep those Dems in congress on the ball.
Reb's have no one to fear in the house but Mr.Waxmann. He will be one nasty SOB for the chit he's taken from the Reb. And look for him to be in charge of reform. And new rules. And you can count on him to go after the miss use of funds in Iraq. And the findings will be used for 08 election. That is main reason Rebs did not want to lose the house. They never did chit. They just stamped and stamped. I think the Senate will be sleepy hollow.

CNN looking much less partisan than Fox this evening. At least they are showing Allen speaking (as well as Fox). Fox didn't show Pelosi/Reid speaking at all. Looks like they are completely ignoring Democratic leadership thus far.

Fox had Reid on for a one on one interview within the last 90 mins.

Shepard Smith wears almost as much makeup as Bill O'Reilly. ....They both should donate some of their abundance to Greta van Sustern.

This is great. I just turned msnbc off and fox news on did Shep just say civilization may end??

He's borrowing from Gardenweasel's playbook. They are acting as if the Reps had no power to develop a strategy the last 6 years, but all of a sudden they have all the solutions as long as they can maintain power. ...But you go Dem, and your just rolling the dice on our existence.

I can't believe FOX is saying new Senate will be Democratic. What do they smoke. At best a tie. Cheney will be GOD.

I think the part he saw was when Shephard Smith said that "Civilization is at stake" regarding the war on terror. He was sort of challinging the new House to make a good war strategy. A little Gardenweasel-esque, but I guess not too sensationalist.

Dems will win Missouri and Montana from how it looks now. Virginia will decide the senate, and as of now Webb is up. So the chance is there.

Yup that was the part.

I love the fact they are so concerned about Pelosi. If anything this is going to help them now because they can blame everything on her.
