number one - i will NEVER sell, share, give away or allow anybody anywhere access to your email addresses (unless i sold the site and that's the property of the site and that's neither here nor there)
that goes for the rare phone number i might have from some of you. PF, if someone offered me 5 million dollars for your cell number i wouldn't be able to produce it for them. you sent it to me in an email, i called you and then i deleted the message. gone or should i say *poof*
so where do these books get your phone numbers and email addresses? they buy the list from companies that sell the list. where do they get the data? hell if i know, i'm not in that business.
getting pissed at *TIM* isn't the answer either because tim isn't a telephone solicitor and doesn't run the telemarketing division of the company. tim can, however, get your name off the list if you email him. tim is a nice guy, believe it or not, and very helpful in the customer support department of the company.
direct mail, email promotions and telemarketing are all part of getting new business for sportsbooks and royal isn't the only one using some or all of these methods. damn near all the books use these methods now and it's not going to stop. not that i can see because it works.
just be careful with your email address and phone numbers and try to get your info off the lists when you are solicited.

i won't bash betroyal near to the extent that they deserve because they are a sponsor here and i respect you jack, and we've spoken before and we seem to get along so i'll leave it at that.
they obviously offer me nothing that i can't get elsewhere and to be absolutely fair to your other sponsors, they offer nothing except a safe haven for bonus chasers and squares and non steam or scalp players or higher end winners. which is fine, that's their model. they are a recreational book which is fine. their constant emails are easy enough to delete but phone calls are where i draw the line. my wife knows what i do, thats not the issue and so does my distant family and friends. what is the issue is that they are cold calling someone who would never in a million years use their garbage. what is the issue is them getting my number from some source and i want to know where.

I've never had a problem with them and I do trust them. But again, that's my choice. For an outfit I dont' trust to have my info is criminal.

Pinny and carib and wsex and betjam and greek and others that I trust don't spam me and I allow them my info. Why must he. I just don't think any solid book is worth a damn schilling for business. Don't they realize it just turns people off? I mean I've lost all faith in the human race if people are actually responding to their phone calls. BetRoyal is kind of like the Yankees. I hate them and all that they stand for and lump them all together.l Just like I hate BetRoyal and lump Tim J with them since he is their schill. Maybe hes a great guy, but its my choice not to associate with him or them. He should realize that and if he had any kind of a brain would tell marketing that maybe offering better lines and nickel pricing and not just bonuses that evaporate with bad lines that they would get better business. I want to add one thing to my thought on this...I have dealt with Tim J many times over the years, from an affiliate perspective. He is probably the hardest working rep I've ever seen, and went out of his way to take care of people I sent his way, including myself with an account. He is an excellent communicator, and I know him to be good to his word.
