is that $59.00 per extended year :shrug:


1 year manfacture I know about


so what do I pay to get an additional 4 years of full warranty..:shrug:

or even 2 years additional:shrug:

we have a Costco that is only a 30 minute ride away from the house.

Certainly would consider a membership for my business there if the electronics warranties are that much better than Sams.

they both have 90 no questions asked return on electronics ..

Because of The Boys promotions of Costco I believed the returns on TV's was forever. Wrong. A simple Google search finds out it's 90 days and hoops to jump through as well.

Looking forward to hearing Betone's post about the policy.

yea me too..

I got the additional year on the 70'' for $51.46


wasn't going to get any extra coverage but couldn't refuse another full year for that price.

Maybe i can help - Costco extends the warranty on all tvs to 2 years- most manu's have 2 years already and SKU from the manufacturer's to Costco they will honor 2 years onsite any way- the extended warranty you purchase covers the warranty a additional 3 years beyond that- I believe the cost depends on the size of tv.

in my search for best local deal on the 70'' I didn't run across a single promise of 2 year manufacture warranty..and Best Buys extended warranty price was a joke.

The MFG has a one year warranty, Costco covers the 2nd year with a concierge program. If anything goes wrong with product in the first two years, parts and service provided at no cost to you. Extended warranty through square trade is of value as you add three more years of warranty for a total of 5 YEARS. prices for extended warranty are very reasonable, any TV $1,000 and above $99.99, over $500.00 to $999.99 is $59.99 and under $500.00 is $29.99. All of these warranties are also available at Costco.com and there is also a company on line that sets up you mounting and Surround for a nominal fee. Hope this helps :0008
