If you are a basketball fan then I understand "liked watching him play". But the part about "liked the guy" just doesn't make sense.

What did you like about him?

Maybe I should have been more clear. I liked the way he played the game and enjoyed watching him play.

I don't dislike him otherwise, I don't know the man.

When I was bartending back in the day I got to take care of Rodman and Carmen Electra. Talk about fun! Great tipper too.

I ran into him in Newport Beach. He was docking his boat and accidentally bumped an old couple in a much smaller boat. He couldn't have been nicer and more apologetic.

I like him. He is different.
Player personalities in the NBA have always seemed pretty homogenous.
He broke that mold a bit.

A friend of mine lives in Lexington.they still have country clubs there where the servers are exclusively old black men wearing white gloves and tails.news flash....this doesn't happen anymore north of the mason dixon line.
