BIG 10 2nd Half unders system

I'd be a little careful with this one (NW/Wisc). NW doesn't fit the profile this year. Some really big 2nd halfs in conf games this season, especially in their last 4-5 games.

I actually like this more. Just look at the 1st half shooting %s, WISC 75% and NW 50%, both teams shooting over 50% from 3. I expect that to come down especially since wisky is known for very low scoring affairs in their building. Not to mention the game total was 121.5, I think there's great value on the 2nd half under.
I see where you are coming from. I was a little more concerned on the defensive side for NW.
2nd half points allowed (conf games when trailing at half):
PENN ST = 45
MIN = 42
IOWA = 43
MICH ST = 49
MIN = 32
ILL = 29
OHIO ST = 36
I stayed away from the total. I have Wisc -12.5.

1-1 today.
I'm not gonna lie, I went a little bit bigger than 2 units on the second one myself, just because I really liked it outside of just the parameters of this system. I won't do this very often, but I posted 2 units just for the sake of consistency and I intend to keep it that way. Will continue to post 2 units when the play comes up.
System was 7-4 this week.
No big 10 tomorrow, so I'll be back in here on Tues.

heh, thanks FCP, but I can't take credit... if you read early on in this thread you'll see its basketballnuts system. Hitting pretty well since I started playing it, but I've always felt that the big10 has a penchant for playing low scoring conference games. we'll see how this does in the long run.
WHEW! That was close there at the end. Another winner. Haven't had many to play this week, all big 10 games the past two night have gone under 1st half.
System still doing well, 8-4 since I started tracking.
I don't want people to think that I've forgotten to keep up with this system because it HAS been successful. It went 2-0 between Saturday and Sunday (Ohio St/Mich on Sat & NWestern/Penn St on Sun).
I'm not playing this because I'm taking some much needed time off before conference tournys start up but this Minn/Mich game shows up as a play.
