Of course the bigger question is why in the love of fuck have tax on anything gambling related. Don't tax lottery, casino, sports betting, bingo, poker, horse racing, etc, etc, etc.

I can't think of any other Country that taxes the individual on gambling wins (and technically losses), it is just fucking stupid.

I can't think of any other Country that taxes the individual on gambling wins (and technically losses), it is just fucking stupid.

Our good ol' Puritan past continues to show it's stupid, ugly face.

For years, I did my grocery shopping Sunday morning. Until some point in the last 10 years, we couldn't buy alcohol before noon on Sundays. If I wanted to buy beer at the grocery store, I had to either shop on a different day or wait until noon.

For the supposed "land of the free", those who hate fun/vices still hold far too much sway over our laws.

Oh and I did some checking....I could only find one Country that taxes the individual on gambling stuff. I'll say it again, so so so fucking stupid (and waste of time/money) to tax gambling shit, just so so so so so so dumb.
