Whoo hooo Just picked it up I am stoked :00hour

Looks like some assembly required.

I called around the large one goes for $750 without the nest.(not a lot of dealers in the area looked like only 3 or 4 in the Austin area) So $600 is a very good price.

Also, had to get the plate setter for another $65

Plate setter is a necessity.

So is an electric fire starter.

One more? do you worry about getting the fat on the Plate setter (use a drip pan?) or no worries adds to the taste

No worries. I use drip pans and my plate setter is a mess.

Cooking update

On a 10 scale

Brisket 9.2 very good Best I ever cooked

Sirloin steak 9.9

Tri tip 9.9

Beer can Chicken 9.6 needs a better rub I am going to try Dizzy Dust next time

1/2 Turkey breast 9.8

Burgers 10

Chicken Wings FAILED took a nap

It's hard to mess things up on the Big Green Egg
unless you take a nap

==========================
Ribs Today 3 more hours

ONLY reason most are 9.9 there's always room for improvement

Love the Egg :0074

PS The wife also loves it.. She has only had to cook dinner 3 times Since I brought it home
