don't consider myself naive (sp?), but I do have experience with payroll companies that suck and cause grave errors.
6-5, Binions has about a two year history of financial insolvency you may be unaware of. This is not simply a case of the checks being late in processing. Last year the sheriffs office actually closed the cage at Binions at one point under suspicion they did not have the cash on hand required by law. Becky is not highly regarded in poker circles for her handling of Binions and the way she has run it into the ground. At one point the players at the WSOP had serious concerns that their money would be taken in and not paid out. There are serious financial problems at Binions that may eventually result in it being sold. There was a rumor floating around a while back that Jack would come back and buy it at bottom dollar, but he apparently is not interested.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know there is a long long long history at work here that does not involve checks being lost in the mail.
