What could be the biggest blizzard in New York City history is threatening to slam into town Monday and Tuesday, dumping up to three feet of snow on the Big Apple, authorities warned.
?Change your plans, change your behavior, change your approach starting right now,? Mayor de Blasio urged Sunday. ?This could be a storm the likes of which we have never seen before.?
As much as 30 inches ? and possibly more ? is expected to begin falling in the late afternoon Monday and run through Tuesday afternoon, forecasters said.
City Hall urged New Yorkers to leave work as early as possible Monday before the blizzard intensifies.
?New Yorkers should not underestimate this storm,? de Blasio warned. ?We are facing one of the largest snowstorms in the history of the city.?
