Curious???? Why make a statement like that?? I see lots of movies. This month alone I probably saw 10.

I have tried over the years to like Woody Allens movies....early Woody Allen is amazing....best actor,director,etc...then after about 6 or 7 classics he bombed....how you can go from a 10 or maybe 9.5 to a 3.5 or a 4.0...
" Don't Drink the Water" was great."Love and Death" a classic..."Take the Money and Run" and" Play it Again Sam" were great movies..".Bananas" you laughed from the get-go.
One of his 1st movies was " What's up Tiger Lily"...it was a film from china or japan and he dubbed it...Annie Hall won big time awards and put him over the top....His best movie was " Sleeper"..... by far....
If Rotten Tomatoes was out back then almost all of the above movies would of done great....then Woody started getting away from these type of movies and tried to become became to cerebral and funny....but he hasn't been close to anyone of the above movies...not one.....I have watched a few but he changed his whole style of directing..some of his movies are OK and some have been so bad....Watched the one about " return to rome" last year..it was Ok but again still disappointed.
Woody was great and has slowly faded away....hope Jasmine does good but I'll wait for it to be on HBO..

My wife & I have seen most Woody Allen movies....She tends to like his later stuff while, similar to Box, I like his earlier movies....
We saw Blue Jasmine & as usual she liked it more than I did....I thought that it was slow in a few places, but overall I liked it....
The movie has a great cast, but Cate Blanchett was the whole movie....She is terrific in the movie & should get an Oscar nomination & maybe even a win....
Rock solid Woody Allen at his best, love Cate Blanchett in this, her role killed it. Got to also give high marks to both Andrew Dice Clay and Bobby Carnnavale.

I just saw this yesterday before the game. I definitely agree with you about the acting. Even ADC did a decent job to my surprise but the movie itself? What exactly did you like so much about it. You posted that you have seen it multiple times and in another thread rate this as one of your favorite movies of the year. Yuck.
I watched the whole movie which automatically gets it a 4* rating but I can't give it much more than a 6 and that's generous but because of the good cast and acting. I didn't really care much for the story.
Jasmine probably reminds you of yourself. She only wants the finest things in life, only buys name brands, drinks the best booze, eats the finer foods, etc. She's concerned about what people think about her and looks down on people that are not in the "class" that she thinks she's in. Jasmine was actually lying to the upper class guy that she met just to impress him and wanted to marry him for his money. She's a pig that only thinks of herself and even looks down on her own family if they don't meet her standards. She's nothing and never was anything, all she did was use people so she could live the life she wanted. Cate did a really, really good job portraying the character and definitely deserves a nomination.
Okay, I'll give it a 7 out of 10.
I would never watch it again. Nope.
Now American Hustle? I'll be watching that again real soon and will probably watch it many times over the years. I loved that movie. :0008
Just read this again and you could probably take this the wrong way, the Boys, but it was in a kidding manner. The shit you're always getting teased about in here.
