They have the best LB + S in the country. They also have a couple good CB's. Since we probably won't see them in the title game, I guess the only way to find out is when these guys go to the next level.

Tell me, what's so special about the SEC offenses this year outside of Florida

Do I really need to mention that it's not always the team that has the most talent, that is the best TEAM.

And USC's defense is the best defensive unit in the country...not just the most talented.

I can only hope that USC gets one of those BIG 12teams. The EAST COAST bias is so bad it's rediculous...and I LIVE in the east!!

I can only hope that USC gets one of those BIG 10teams. The EAST COAST bias is so bad it's rediculous...and I LIVE in the east!!

Of course you do, cause the BIG 10 sucks.

I want them to play a BIG 12 offense....then we shall see & judgements can be more precisely made.

They have played some sad offensive teams to skew the #'s

The system is awful. Same crap every year. They've got us b/c we love the sport, and they know the controversy will make us talk even more, even if its about how much we hate it.

Someone in this thread said, just win all your games and your fine. Tell that to Penn State teams in the past...or Auburn going 13-0 in the damn SEC and getting left out. Its a joke.

I love how this is "Oklahoma or Texas"...what about Texas Tech. They all have the same record in the same conference and all beat/lost to each other. They all played weak non-conf schedules.

Why does it matter "when" you lost that one game. Why does it matter by "how much".

If they all win this weekend, I think they should draw straws, and whoever wins goes to the conf title game.

Same as every other year though. Horrible system that we can't change...maybe Obama can change it.

Under a mask.
There really is not a great system .You need to include at least the top 24,and thats not gonna happen. So what is ,is what is.

Happy Thanksagiving!

I've always wanted to see conference winners in a playoff but at the same time I love the rankings and season, etc.

All you need is the top 8 (byes don't work with 8 teams) or even top 12 (which would give top 4 a bye) and let the rankings mean something but that you don't have to finish in the damn "top 2" with all the controversy.

I mean, if you are 13th and bitching about not being 12th...or 9th bitching about not being 8th...then too damn bad.

And yeah, keep the bowls the same. When every 6-6 team "deserves" a bowl....all it is about is money and no one cares about anything except that its a game at a neutral site. We'd actually appreciate bowl games even more with a playoff around them.
