What's up, Boiler? Woke up this morning thinking I had a nightmare that IU beat OU by 10 and bis in the Nat'l Championship game, only to realize it's TRUE!

Here's what I'm playing so far, FWIW. The Clips game was disappointing.

1.5 Units apiece

Bos-6.5
Bos-3.5 1H
Sac Under202
Wash+5

GL, Buddy.

Yup, 8 seems kind of high to me too. IU's f**ked me way too much this year, I'll probably just watch the game and root for the Terps. I have them winning the whole thing in a NCAA pool. :D

GL Today, pop a few of them Tylenols/Exedrins and chug a couple of glasses of water, you'll feel much better. I'm ready to rock for the Laker game already.:D

btw I'm actually an ER doc.;) Although we all know that the nurses run the unit, not the docs.:D

Don't know how I missed this one. Really liked this game the more I look at it.

Indy-2 x3 Does Miami have anything to play for? Aren't they eliminated from the playoffs? Indy's hanging on to the 8th seed, playing at home against an eliminated team who's trash on the road, and only laying 2?? Probably a POLYESTER play as Nolan would call it, like the Wizards today, but I'll bite.

Thanks, Boiler. Did the exact same thing and passed out on the couch. Woke up to see the Wiz make a nice run to cash in +2.5 for 1st 1/2. Took into the account of O'neill being out for the game, but they have everyone else back I believe. Looks like Miami is on their way to get blown out of the gym (crossing my fingers) :D

Noticed an interesting totals pattern on the Lakers last year, and was very successful in the playoffs. Gonna give it a go today, since this game should have playoff type intensity with both teams battling for home field advantage in the playoffs.

Lak -3 1st 1/2
Lak/SA Over 94 1st 1/2
Lak/SA Under 189 game

1.5 Units apiece

I hear ye, Boiler. But here's a piece from the LATimes today.............

If the San Antonio Spurs thought they made a statement when they handed the Lakers an 18-point defeat 11 days ago at the Alamodome, they should know better.

"Wash that down, it's gone down the drain," said Laker Coach Phil Jackson about the March 20 game, which ended the Spurs' six-game losing streak against the Lakers.

Keeping their focus has been a challenge for the Lakers, but that shouldn't be a problem today when they face the Spurs in a key Western Conference matchup at Staples Center. "We talked this morning about needing the stimulation of important games to bring meaning to the ball games," Jackson said after the Lakers' practice Saturday. "This one certainly has it. We anticipate a good effort. Whether we win or lose is not the question, it's the effort that we put out there."

The last time the Lakers played the Spurs, they were playing their second road game in as many nights and San Antonio was coming off a four-day break. The setting for today's game is a little different.

The Lakers are coming off an impressive 12-point home victory over Portland on Friday, while the Spurs are playing the final game of a four-game West Coast trip. San Antonio is also on a two-game losing streak. After winning 13 games in a row, the Spurs averaged 84.5 points in consecutive losses at Portland and Seattle.

"They're still scared," Laker forward Rick Fox said of the Spurs. "They've been on the road for most of the week here now and we're coming off a nice victory. And I don't know what our record is on NBC, but as Phil always tells us, we'll try and make our mothers proud."

--------

The Lake Show rolled off some impressive streaks right before the season ended the last 2 yrs, something like 18-2 (was looking at it this morning). FWIW, I think this game could get ugly early.

Good luck, buddy.:toast:

HEY GUYS SORRY BOUT THAT ANALYSIS EARLIER...WENT TO THAT GAME ...AND AS I RESPONDED IN MY POST THAT BUCKS TEAM HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST BRUTAL DEFENSIVE TEAM I HAVE SEEN AT THE VAULT THIS YEAR....I COULD HAVE GRABBED 5 GUYS FROM MY BLOCK AND GIVE THE CELTS A BETTER GAME..SERIOUSLY I THOUGHT THE CELTS WERE A SOFT DEFENSIVE TEAM BUT THAT BUCK TEAM IS SOFT ... AND TALK ABOUT MISSING OPEN SHOTS... I AM A CELTS FAN ALWAYS HAVE BEEN BUT THEY PLAYED GOOD DEFENSE IN SPURTS TODAY BUT THE BUCKS HAD SO MANY OPEN LOOKS AND COULDNT CONNECT ON ANYTHING...IF CASSELS IS HURTING SO BAD..AND HE WAS NOTICEBLY LIMPING ...THEN SIT HIM DOWN .... I WILL TELL YOU THIS IF BUCKS DONT GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR ASS THEY ARE 1 AND OUT IN THE PLAYOFFS...

Guys, can't win them all, right? The Lakers sure stunk it up in a game as big as this. Zen master better get the whips and chains out at half time.

Lak-5 x3
Under94 x3

Sure do, but not nearly as good as many of the cappers on here. Putting 1/2 unit on Angels and Under8.5 for shits and giggles tonite. Pretty much do what I do in football, gather info here and make my plays, and if I hit a cold spell, piggyback someone on here until I feel like I could pick winners again.:D

How about you?
