Damn work gets in the way of too many good things

It didn't get in the way of Pimlico every day between 1-5 or beer drinking after work. What more could I ask for

Hope you and your family are well, Stevie. I agree thaat anxiety and depression drugs are overprescribed. Anyone can call just about any doc to obtain scripts of these types of meds. I know those who are on both. Doesn't make sense to me???

Thank you Cie. It is a very tough thing to fight. They get these kids dependent on these drugs and they are not even treating the problem Just making it worse. What is worse is that these are not "quack" doctors but respected doctors, hospitals, and clinics. Once they get these kids roped in it is a very difficult cycle to break. In my case we finally found a doctor who has been able to help my daughter, so far, she is still being weaned off all the scripts she was given. The first time she was on suicide watch she was on 9 mood stabilzers. While under the supervision of a therapist and a perscriber. We brought her to emergency because she was delusional...they put her on suicide watch. Then she had to do time at McLains. Came out of McClains, who saw no problem with the pills she was on,and took herself off the scrpits. Asked the perscriber for help and was told "Don't get off them and you won't have withdrawel."
The cycle started again but finally. Thank God. We were led to a doctor, by the mother of a 20 year old kid who took his own life, and this doctor has done wonders. We are not out of the crap yet but things are looking a lot better.

Sounds like a new thread for top 10 buddy sidekicks of all time on tv only is coming.

Iwill throw out Dudley from Different Strokes. I think we all learned a valuable lesson when Dudley was molested by Gordon Jump.

Best Different Strokes episode ever. If I remember correctly, he showed them cartoon porn before he molested Dudley. Gotta love a good cartoon porn, don't ya? I also like the one where Arnold burns a hole in his new school sweater from smoking cigs. Priceless.

As for sidekicks, don't forget about Alfonso from Silver Spoons and Skippy from Family Ties.

:mj07: How the crap did I miss that thread?! Vinnie Delpino, the man, the myth, the legend. I also liked his Ali-like return to the ring in The Sopranos (to steal a line from Kenish in Rounders). Paul Pfeiffer is another great call. I loved The Wonder Years growing up.

And Larry from Three's Company is epic. In fact, I think you could make a good case for him being #1 (all due respect to the great Delpino). He was always hooking Jack up with twins. If you look up 'wingman' in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of ol' Lawrence.
