My first post in this thread was on Cincy but I re hit them at (-1.5). Gino is taking the majority of snaps in practice. Word is he looks fine. Marshall had to send their 3rd leading tackler Senior Dionte Wilson HOME!! A three-year starter at linebacker, was suspended for a violation of team rules. Junior Dennis Thornton, a backup linebacker and special teams standout was also sent home for violating team rules!
Smaller play
UCLA (-12) over Wyoming
I can see upset here but I like the Bruins in the talent department. UCLA is VERY thin at LB, but they have a very good O-line and solid running back that should have a lot of success against this defense (allowing 184.0 yards per game and 19 rushing TD's). UCLA averages 30.9 points and 419 yards per game. HOWEVER The Bruins allow 222.3 rushing yards per game, which ranks 111th nationally in that category. The Cowboys' rushing average is only 134.2 yards. Bramlet completed 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He will force the ball if the D-line of UCLA can get pressure. The Cowboys do know the field better playing UNLV. Still the Talent UCLA has on offense should be too much for Wyoming. Both defenses will give up points but the experience of UCLa playing better teams should show late in the game. UCLA is a lot better then what their record indicates. The played USC tough, lost a squeakers to ASU/ Wash St, beat Oregon, and played with Okla St and Cal. I think UCLA can put together time consuming drives, keep the offense of Wyoming off the field and out of rhythm.
Cheers
