Navy is attracting a lot of money right now as line is getting to 3 in some places (UVA was -1 last night). I am going to take the over now in this game at 51. I do not play a lot of totals in the bowls, but starting to think this game will have some points. It is cold but sunny, and as Sub pointed out to me, this type of weather tends to produce points. Both plays on this game are small for some action.

UVA QB is a total disaster. Man is he bad. They are not winning this game. Was hoping they could take advantage of field position and score so I could grab Navy in-game, but it is not going to happen. If somehow they can close the gap, I will be taking Navy to get out of this bet.

Virginia?s f pos qb could have made it 21-14 but he fucking blows! They fumble the next play and now it looks like it?s going to be 28-7.
He should be put on a bus back to Charlottesville at halftime.
I am not sure what the UVA coaching staff did during the break, but they didn't do a lot of coaching that is for sure. If you can not game plan against a Navy defense that gives up a ton of yards you have some serious issues. Just a pathetic performance in my opinion. I know a few alumni that will be giving Bronco a piece of their minds after this one.
So glad I passed on going to this game.
No biggie from a betting perspective as the TT and over will likely bail me out, but still hate being so wrong about the game. Gave Bronco way too much credit.

That was brutal. I had to work and got home a little while ago...recorded the game but wanted to watch it fast...saw the opening kickoff and was like, man this is gonna be easy! Holy hell that was it for UVA lol....Navy beat that ass.

Michigan State did save the day, so the day was not that bad.
Looks like the favorites are in favor today. Here is how I see it in order of preference.
Northwestern -8. This looks exactly like the Michigan State game to me. Northwestern is much more physical than KY and much better defensively. KY only wins when they rush the ball and they get beat up when they can't run. They will not be able to run today. Will be surprised if this one is close.
Utah State -4. New Mexico State looks a lot like UAB to me: they are just happy to be here. Utah St. will be motivated and they have the better defense. I think they get a comfortable win.
Wake -3 -120. This looks to be a favorite play today of many cappers. I think it is mostly a play against A&M. Wake has been a scoring machine but they given up a lot of points and yards also. TX A&M is also porous on defense so on paper the Ov 65 looks to be a good play as does Wake tt Ov 34. I simply do not trust that A&M will show up for this game so I am taking Wake who will definitely be motivated and should have the crowd behind them.
Az St +7.5 -120/+225. I hate taking a Pac 10 team here (this is the one Bowl where they do tend to win) but I also hate taking NC State as a TD favorite (they are 1-7 ATS as a favorite this year). They always seems to find a way to screw things up. Maybe I am making this one a little personal but I do not trust that team. I think AZ State is motivated to win this one for Graham in his last game.
I will be back at some point with thoughts on the Ohio State game as I am having a hard time laying 8 with Ohio State, but I am also not a big USC fan. I will see how the day is going before I make a bet here. Will likely use Ohio State is a teaser or two.

So is the ref in the Northwestern game trying to even the score now that the NW QB is out. That has to be one of the worst calls I have seen, especially in a bowl game. That ref should be fired at halftime. Good for my bet, but I hate, and I mean hate, seeing games decided by horrible officiating.

Yeah, I let my personal feelings get to me in that one, but it was the smallest of my plays today. Pac 12 is looking as bad as the MAC!!
I actually like USC here. I think both of these teams had good argument for the playoff over Alabama and could see motivation or lack thereof in either...I like taking the points and I think Darnold is the real deal...I like Helton and I think there is talent all around.

Good Luck TDJ. I just can't get myself to bet USC. I think Darnold will be running for his life most of the game. I do think the line is inflated though based on respective conference plays in the bowls. I think I will watch the FH and look for a halftime play, especially if Northwestern can finish off this game.
Fitzgerald can kiss my old fat ass. Just a terribly coached game. At least they missed the 2 for my ML parlays but you can't coach like that and I don't care that it is a bowl game. He is going to be at Northwestern a long time because no big time program is going to hire him.

USC and Darnold are everything I thought they were. I just do not see him as a starter in the NFL. Hoping USC actually scores some so I can take Ohio State at the half, because I do not think USC has a chance in this game.

I get up super early and drive it up to my mechanic and walk home. Fall asleep on the couch. An hour and a half later my phone rings. Hey man, you must have bumped something, your oil pan was cracked and you didn't have any oil in there. We fixed it and changed your oil. How much, I ask. Fifty-one dollars!!
