That sucks, but I'm not overly shocked at all.
People really don't give a feck about hockey on TV here. That ice dancing crap gets great numbers, I think, so they have to go with ratings, I guess.
I, personally, will break my MSNBC ban and actually watch that crap channel that night.

Exactly. Winter Olympics give me an opportunity to catch up on movies I didn't watch during football season.
okay, kinda confused here (nothing unusual) .... what does NBC have to do with other countries? are USA stations the only ones allowed to broadcast the Olympics no matter where they are held? Why don't they show events where the general public gives a shit about the results in their own countries?
so those stations will broadcast hockey, correct? (since that is what Canada would rather view)
they broadcast between them almost everything...

If they put it on MSNBC, why is this an issue? Do you have a thing for the channel number that has NBC vs the one that has MSNBC? As long as they broadcast it, what's the damn difference?

I have been playing hockey my whole life (40 years on the blades). I am still playing at age 48. I would rather watch ice dancing than hockey any day. Never could take to hockey on the tube. Love it live at the Lightening games but not on the tube. Maybe it's payback for all the ricky rolling you did :mj07:
